Our property is perfect for those who have been driving all day or night and can't quite make it to Glacier Nat'l Park or Flathead lake is full. The property has been in my family since 1890 and we are the original founders of the McLeod Ditch which allows for a canal and creek to run water through the property and fill the trout ponds. I do have renters living on the property so two of the ponds are private property but you are welcome to take a jog or walk up the road to the canal and forest area.

Quiet and comfortable, peaceful
Meredith's place is lovely! She is a very enthusiastic and welcoming hostess. Do check who else is camping to ensure you understand how much privacy there will be. The campsites are located around a pond but if more than one person is camping they will have to drive thru your site to get out (or you will have to drive thru the other site). Also, the neighbors are very nice but they'd prefer their dogs not to mix with visitors so be sure your dog is tied up or willing to stay close by. There are large fields you can walk thru or play ball with your dog and the ponds are lovely although the ones most appealing to swim in are near the neighbors (who are actually Meredith's tenants).
I would stay again and highly recommend the site as long as you know what you're looking for. There is abundant goose poop in the camping areas as it's so near the ponds. It was dry and didn't bother us but we thought at first it was dogs that hadn't cleaned up. Not so. No smell, and no problems with the geese. Cows and horses very near by.
Extremely quiet! We got up and left at 6am to drive thru Glacier and got there in plenty of time to miss the traffic (IE: no waiting! and early enough to see bears!) Flathead Lake is a great day excursion while camping here.
Beautiful, peaceful place to camp
Beautiful setting on peaceful land. This is a little piece of heaven with a great host. Fresh, great tasting water. Really nice cooking stove. Our kids loved paddling around the pond. A really fantastic Hipcamp!
Meredith is a wonderful host, friendly and interested and wanting everyone's stay to be comfortable. I enjoyed staying in the Glamping site for 2 nights with the sounds of nature surrounding.... grateful
We got there pretty late due to our own delays but Meredith still welcomed us warmly. In the morning the site was more beautiful than expected or shown in pictures. Wish we could have stayed longer but weather was not cooperative.
Peaceful streams & dreams
Camping at Meredith's was so special. She cares so much for this land that has been in her family for generations. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and our experience was wonderful. We fell asleep to the sound of water and woke up to most beautiful views of the mountain. Epic star gazing! The tipi, outdoor kitchen, yoga space, and outdoor shower will always be a fond memory. Thank you Meredith!!
