Literally, We are glad that the host received us the late night after our long hike.. The place itself was great being on countryside..However, there was only camp set up, rest of all we had to do..no proper water, if you want to use the water, you need to carry it in a bucket for any use..The water is not hygienic, the canoe which is pictured there in a small pond is full of dirt and mosquitoes.. Finally, the bare minimum kitchen, which has improperly treated utenstils . If the price was 50$, then we would have ignored, we paid 110$ for the amenities listed but they don't work..Yes, we are disappointed, we left the place as soon as possible without taking bath, without cooking anything!

My kids and I had such a wonderful time staying at Mere’s property! Between playing in the ponds, exploring the wilderness area that backs up to the property and the wonderful treatment that Mere provided, we had all we needed to have a great time over 3 days here! I would highly recommend her place and would not hesitate for a minute to come back.

This is my first Hipcamp experience, and Meredith set the bar high. I had no idea what to expect. Her directions to her spot were perfect. When I arrived I was greeted with a huge smile from her camp host, Ray. He showed me all around, and I felt immediately welcome and at ease. All the other campers were friendly as well. My tent was lovely. A comfortable bed on the floor and lots of blankets. It was private with a wonderful view even though it was really smoky. After I settled in, there was a nice hike around the area. The ponds had tons of birds in them. Meredith was sweet and welcoming too! We had a really nice visit before I left. I would recommend her place to anyone.

So this was my first Hipcamp experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I even let a friend know our location “just in case”. When my family arrived, it was late and we went to bed. As soon as we awoke, we were warmly greeted by another camper. We were shown around and started to settle in. Our host met us with an amazing musical greeting. There’s something to be said about a morning greeting by song and ukulele. We then met other campers around the farm. By the end of the first afternoon, we were planning out a camping community dinner. Between our children and the others, we had happy kids running around, playing, catching frogs, creating art, and learning to play the ukulele from our fabulous host. Even neighbors joined us! We were gifted a few canned items made from the fruit and berries on the farm, as well as drinks from the local brewery. This week was unforgettable. It felt more like a family reunion camping trip than just a camping trip. This place is so wonderful, another camper extended their stay. If you are lucky enough to stay at Mere’s Magical Trout Farm, you will not be disappointed. We feel like we’ve gained more extended family, not just rented a place to stay on vacation.

Mere's Magic Canvas TentThis tent is so beautiful. It’s great for a family or for a romantic camping getaway. This was my morning view for the past week, I will miss it.Sunsets here are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever witnessed.

Truly life changing magic moments were shared and it made me so happy to know your daughter enjoyed learning the ukulele while she was here and all the other children got to play and connect and create childhood memories. Great family! Thank you for the wonderful painting and gifts and good conversation.

We had a wonderful time staying at Mere's Magic Canvas Tent. The property is a huge lot of land with incredible views of the mountains, 2 ponds for canoeing, swimming and fishing and lots of nature and wildlife around. We loved how cozy the canvas tent was and appreciated having a shower, toilet and kitchen space we were able to use! We also had a great time chatting with the other hipcampers around a fire in the evening. Will definitely be back to visit again!
