Dianna was a super attentive host, and helped guide us to fun things to do in the area (other than the obvious - lol). Nice wooded spot, but some neighbors with loud bikes/vehicles and very frequent trains. I think that anywhere in the area would hear the trains d/t the nature of the valley/area around West Glacier, though. We felt safe at the spot and felt safe leaving our stuff there during the day when we were off exploring.

Site was as promised, quick access to Glacier! So easy to get up there first thing in the morning. Outhouse was clean and well kept.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest, this sadly isn’t it. During the night, a large train constantly passes by (it seemed to happen at least every hour, if not more) with a comedically loud horn that it blares for an extended period. On top of that, there is lots of foot/dirt bike/truck traffic in the neighborhood. On our second night, bass heavy music in the distance was playing late into the evening. We honestly felt it would be quieter camping out in our backyard in Chicago. It’s a shame, as the space is extremely convenient in it’s location near Glacier. Outhouse is also pitch black, even during the day, and could use a transparent roof or solar light. I cannot stress enough how loud the train is.

The best part was being so close to Glacier. If you like trains it is great, you hear them going by quite often. Easy place to find and a couple minutes off Hwy 2. Thanks,Diana

Fantastic location, ten minute drive to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Dianna was super responsive and helpful. Had enough room for our 2 person tent, car, hammock. The picnic table is great for meal preps. Outhouse is a huge plus. No showers or water, but there are plenty of lakes nearby for swimming. We had an awesome 4 days exploring glacier!

The site itself is set almost in the backyard of a home. If you are camping in a tent there are a lot of roots and weeds growing where you would put a tent that can make sleeping uncomfortable. The outhouse could use a light. It is extremely dark inside even during the day. There are railroad tracks very close to the site that is very active. We heard several trains throughout the night as well as the residents coming and going late into the night over the weekend. It was a decent stay however for the price I would look elsewhere next time. If you are in a last minute bind for a place to stay like we were it will get the job done and at the very least you can feel as if you are safe in this small neighborhood.

Dianna is a fantastic and friendly host. The site was secluded with enough room for 2 8x8 tents, a large canopy and tons of extra space. We were so pleased to find tons of firewood available and an extremely clean outhouse.

The drive into West Glacier was super fast, and there's a great dive bar (Stonefly Lodge) just outside of the neighborhood.
