Elk campsite is 1 of 5 of our campsites. Elk is a pull through site that is set up for a trailer or rv length of 30'. We have a rock fire ring that can be used when the weather permits fires. There is space to set up a tent. For size reference on the tent space the tent in the pictures is a 9x7 and there was still plenty of room to have a bigger tent. Elk is next to Bear and Fox campsites and very close to where the bathroom will be.

Our property is several acres and has a lot of wildlife ranging from deer, elk, moose and occasional bears (bear spray), to lots of birds including great gray owls. There are occasional songbirds singing but you'll hear our roosters too. During the warmer months there are marmots laying about on the rocks and you can hear them whistling at each other. Sometimes there are toads that are hopping through.

Sheep Mountain is nearby and has disc golf and rock climbing.

Each campsite has a peekaboo view of Elkhorn Peak and Crow Peak. Some have a view of the Elkhorn Mountain Range.

Campsites are along a ridge with trees. The driveway conditions vary depending on the weather, 4wd is recommended but not necessary during dry weather.

Cell phone service is spotty along the ridge with pretty much no service anywhere else.

There is a field near the ridge where the campsites are located. It is a sloped field that is great for watching the night sky!

Please respect the private areas of our property and stay out of the ponds including keeping pets away from the ponds. There are roads that we have marked with no motorized access signs that are great for taking walks!
