This is remote, but beautiful and worth it. The directions are entirely accurate and easy to follow. The “gates” referred to are simply wire fencing strung across the dirt road that you swing out of the way. Large field to park in by river. No problem finding a level spot. Saw deer, blue heron and pheasant. This time of year lots of mosquitos, but deet took care of it. Jeremy was very responsive and flexible with our one day delay due to car trouble. This is very relaxing boondocking.

Its a nice peice of property on the river. Like the description said there are no services or amenaties at all...period. Its a primative campground as if you were floating the river and camping. To call it an RV Camp is a bit of a stretch. Fishing i think would be better after irrigation season.

I am writing this review to inform others that the mosquitoes can be more than you might want to tolerate when it’s warm out or at the wrong time of year, particularly if you are tent camping. We arrived after dark after receiving good directions from the host. The place seems nice and I wish we could have stayed, but getting our roof top tent up was next to impossible with the bugs. We gave up and searched for a hotel room, as we were heading home from a trip to Montana. The host felt bad and gave hotel options that may honor an outfitters discount back towards town, but we were heading south. Maybe another time.

We were in a pinch traveling up to glacier national Park. Jeremy was extremely responsive and helpful. The place we camped next to the river was absolutely stunning! The main issue we had was the heat and bugs. Our stay was the end of July and the temperature was 100° when we pulled in around 6 PM. We were not able to get out of the van because of the heat and bugs. When we woke up in the morning, it was so peaceful. We saw beautiful birds and even a beaver. I think Jeremy‘s hip camp is awesome in the right season.

The campsite is a quiet, private, peaceful spot along the river. The fish were jumping and I wished that in that spot, I was a fly fisherman. Alas, I am not, but I did wade into the cold river water. It was a pleasure. We saw heron, cranes and pheasant and slept to the sounds of the river. Its a primitive site. No water or toilet, so be prepared to rough it a bit. We came in our 16’ travel trailer and car. The directions were good, but arriving after dark may be tough and the gates are old-fashioned barbed-wire gates which require a little effort.. The ground in places was uneven and the access drive was heavily rutted so maneuvering around in the dark might be tricky. Jeremy was very friendly, responsive and helpful. It rained heavily the night we were there, and the access road was very muddy and it was rough sledding. I would check with Jeremy for access if its been rainy before heading out there. We have ~8 in of ground clearance and all-wheel drive and needed every inch of ground clearance on the access road. A larger RV may also have challenges due to the trees along the access road. They were close and some overhung the drive at 9’ to 10’ in height. All that said, we’d go back again in a second.

Thank you! Sorry about the rain. It does make the road somewhat difficult to pass. This property is certainly NOT for "Glamping", but it is peaceful and private! Hope you come again.
