Your view is a large hay field and sunsets! Places to walk and ride from site. Within 5 minutes of Huntley Museum (learn about the irrigation), yoga on Wednesdays, Blue Cat restaurant (periodic local rodeo, live music and bingo), Cowboys (bbq with a pool table and river view) and several Yellowstone Yellowstone River access sites. Within 30 minutes of the Metra, Four Dances (Billings view hike), Pictograph Cave State Park and Pompey's Pillar (Lewis and Clark). 60 minutes from The Little Bighorn Battlefield. There is no better place to hit the trails than in Montana’s Trailhead. Billings offers hundreds of acres of city parks and 47 miles of walking and biking trails surrounding the city. Ride or walk along the legendary Yellowstone River, take in the forever views from Swords Park or head west to a wilder landscape near Zimmerman Park. To experience both the sandstone heights and the rivers, explore the Four Dances Recreation Area. Hike from the parking area to the edge of the Rimrocks. Be aware that the steep drop-offs along this trail reach 500 feet over the Yellowstone River! Additional trails in this area lead down through the pine forest and end at the Yellowstone River. Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.Site 1:  Camper trailers park shortly off of good gravel road.  Camper/tents go on the 42x150' lawn that is your space. 50A outlet and potable water spigot at SW corner of house.  View is west facing and over 1/2 mile of no houses.    (FYI Google satellite image is dated.) Site 2:  In 40x50x19' clearance hay barn.  Electrical cord and hose can be ran out there. View is horse coral.

Horses and Hay
A good alternative
Nice place to camp for a short stay. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. A little bit of noise from the gravel road and the train so better with earplug if you have a light sleep. No shadow. Friendly animals.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this Hip camp on our way to Glacier. Lisa was so inviting and helpful. The property was beautiful. Having electric and water hookup was such a great bonus for our overnight stop. And our camper and three tents fit perfect.

Very hospitable
We would very much recommend this spot and would be happy to come back one day. The hostess, Lisa, was very friendly and opened up her property to us (I.e., feed the horses from the fence, offering her herbs in her garden, etc..) She even checked on us during a storm and allowed us (myself, my pup, my partner, and our truck :p) into her home to wait some of it out. We felt very safe and had what we needed (partial hookups- water and electric available). Definitely check it out. She wasn’t far from outdoor activities like seeing little big horn, local hiking trails-pictograph cave, etc..

More than five stars
What a great location. The host, Lisa, was amazing and so hospitable. The location is very peaceful and a short drive into Billings, MT. We might have to come this way again so we can spend time here again.
