Our favorite Hipcamp spot ever. Camped for two nights and that was not enough! Yellowstone River out your front door for fishing, kayak, or rafting. Paradise Valley views to the south, Pine Creek Lodge, Chico hot springs a short drive away. Greg made it a point to come visit us. Great guy. You can’t go wrong with this one.
This campsite was perfect for our small group. The location right on the Yellowstone, not far from Livingston can't be beat! We went hiking up Pine Creek, went to a concert at Pine Creek Lodge, and floated the river so this campsite was the perfect basecamp.
Good camping experience!
Public access site across the river. So many boats are putting in and taking out from morning till evening. Can hear a little road noise from the highway and county Road but not too bad. Overall great experience and it sure beats a normal campground.
Dreamy place on the river
This is a super place right on the river. We were two couples with two travel trailers and we took over the whole place for six days. We had a great time. As others have said, not sure how it would work for people who don’t know each other. We appreciated having electric and water hook ups and a big deck overlooking the river.
We spent several days floating down the river for hours. We went into Yellowstone Park which is about an hour away. We also visited Yellowstone hot Springs. The town of Livingston is just 10 minutes away with groceries and gas. We loved it here.
Like camping in yellowstone
Greg’s campsite is like you are camping in Yellowstone, without the crowds! The camp is on the river which offers fishing and wading if you are inspired. Their are horses on the neighboring property, ducks that come and go and we had some deer run through one morning. The town of Livingston is nearby and offers a diverse choice of dining and shopping. I highly recommend Greg’s RV. Amp site on the river!
Greg’s spot is right on the Yellowstone River - very serene and easy to find. We have a 33ft 5th wheel and had no trouble setting up once we go there. There are two camp sites on this property and they are somewhat close, but plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the River. Greg is knowledgeable of the area and helped us with setting up a float down the river during our stay. Greg was very responsive to all our questions and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!
Nice riverside spot
Nice spot with a great view of the river. About an hour’s drive from North entrance to YNP. Very good water source available, and power if needed. Fire ring and wood on site. Not as private as I imagined it would be, but relatively quiet and very convenient as a base camp for Park excursions. Would stay again 😊
