Yellowstone river camping
great spot right on the Yellowstone river with excellent views, sounds and privacy! water and electric hookups worked great. highly enjoyed our stay and even added an extra night. deck was so nice to spread out on. grocery store is only a few miles away, as well as downtown Livingston that has tons of character. about 30-40 min drive to Bozeman.
Awesome site with deck and fire pit (we didn’t have a fire though, still banned here I think). River was low so was able to go way out on the rock beach right in front, the doggo got to romp a bit in the shallow pool off to the side of the river. Beautiful views of river and surrounding mountains. Road is right there next to bridge and boat launch point across the way but didn’t feel like we didn’t have some privacy. There seems to be two sites here, only one with a deck, def a must for the spot. Would stay here again for sure. Power and water hookups at deck.
Beautiful river side rv spot.
We spent 3 days and two nights at this beautiful river side RV spot. Great location. Loved the privacy, listening to the river as we sat on the deck and also watching the small boats launch across the river. Much better than a campground. We hope to come back!
Our favorite Hipcamp spot ever. Camped for two nights and that was not enough! Yellowstone River out your front door for fishing, kayak, or rafting. Paradise Valley views to the south, Pine Creek Lodge, Chico hot springs a short drive away. Greg made it a point to come visit us. Great guy. You can’t go wrong with this one.
This campsite was perfect for our small group. The location right on the Yellowstone, not far from Livingston can't be beat! We went hiking up Pine Creek, went to a concert at Pine Creek Lodge, and floated the river so this campsite was the perfect basecamp.
Good camping experience!
Public access site across the river. So many boats are putting in and taking out from morning till evening. Can hear a little road noise from the highway and county Road but not too bad. Overall great experience and it sure beats a normal campground.
Dreamy place on the river
This is a super place right on the river. We were two couples with two travel trailers and we took over the whole place for six days. We had a great time. As others have said, not sure how it would work for people who don’t know each other. We appreciated having electric and water hook ups and a big deck overlooking the river.
We spent several days floating down the river for hours. We went into Yellowstone Park which is about an hour away. We also visited Yellowstone hot Springs. The town of Livingston is just 10 minutes away with groceries and gas. We loved it here.
