Our land along Highway 212 is a hay field and beyond that at the base of the bench is a spot for two campsites. Any Class B RVs and trailers up to 22 feet in length total, including the tongue, are allowed. No Class A or Class C motorhomes are allowed. The total length of the towing vehicle and trailer cannot exceed 44 feet. For example, a 22 foot pickup truck with a 22 foot trailer is allowed. The reason for this length restriction is the turn-around area is limited. No restrooms or hook-ups are available, therefore your RV must be self-contained. The campsites are on mowed grass. You may need leveling blocks to get perfectly level.
The bench has several springs on it that feed into the water running by the campsites. You can walk up a rough, tree lined road that goes to the top of the bench for an incredible view of the Beartooth Mountains. Red Lodge and the surrounding area offers endless possibilities for recreation and cultural events.
Bald eagles and sandhill cranes frequent our property, along with various raptors, waterfowl and songbirds. Moose, foxes, coyotes, deer and bears are sometimes sighted. Mosquitos have never been an issue here, even though they can be fierce in the nearby mountains. We have cold fresh well water- it may be the best you've ever had! You're welcome to fill your RV water tank from a hydrant in front of the barn.
