Private and peaceful! Bathroom and shower is very clean. Hookups worked perfectly. Misty has excellent communication, and we had no issues finding the place! Definitely staying again.
Awesome camp site! Exactly as described, sites are really nice and well kept and they had a REALLY clean bathroom and shower. Host Misty was awesome and super helpful, we will definitely be camping there again!
Best camping experience I've had at any RV Park or Hipcamp Site. Beautiful location, with 360 degree panoramic views of the Ozark mountains, full hookups, super clean bathroom with great hot water shower, and super friendly and helpful. Don't let the dirt road to the site dissuade you, it was no issue at all for my 19 foot travel trailer pulls by a Highlander.
What a beautiful place. They had a brand new shower house and toilet close to all the sites. If we were kayaking this trip we could of pulled out of the river at their property and would’ve had a newly gravel path taken us back to our campsite. We saw a bald eagle and heard turkey gobble as well. Sets up on a nice High Point with a beautiful sunset. Host came by to check on us to make sure we were aware of all their accommodations and see if we needed anything to make her stay better. Highly recommend and what a beautiful drive off the highway to get to their place
Great little spot that isn't too far from the lake or the major road, but feels like your out in the woods.
Nice path down to the river for those that wanna do a float trip!
Peaceful spot in the woods
Love this little secluded camp spot. Not even 1/2 mile to the river...dogs really enjoyed the whistle! Clean campgrounds and plenty of firewood! Even the bathroom is clean! We will be back!
We will return
We stayed at Tunnel Dam Camp 4th of July weekend. Private location off the beaten path. No noise, no street/city lights and no people. There is a river about 1 mile away with great swimming or simply wetting our feet. Ha Ha Tonka state park is only 20 minutes away.
30 amp service with consistent service. Water provided by a spiket provided 40 lbs of pressure.
Sewage connection at the campsite.
Gravel road onto property and to campsite required us to enable four wheel drive for traction. We had now issues pulling 7000 pounds.
The campsites are tight with limited space to maneuver tow vehicle. We managed with 28 foot camper, but it took a couple of tries and disconnection of the anti-sway bars.
The host, Misty, is awesome and responsive.
We will stay there again if it travels take us to the area.
