The owners worked hard to make sure we had a nice stay. Cleared out an area for a scout group, it was not as flat as it should be and he understood and commented he would work on that. We were able to do a good challenging hike (good hills) then visit a waterfall feature and the farm animals at the end

Hospitality and peace
The pond was so peaceful and made wonderful wildlife sounds throughout the night. The field had good even areas for van camping, and the introduction to the wildlife (goats, longhorns) was a true joy for the kids. Heidi and Aaron were some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. The place was extremely peaceful compared to the public parking we saw in the state park when we drove by in the morning, and we are so thankful we stayed there!!!

It was wonderful! The happy animals are so peaceful and fun! The land is natural and healthy. Private trails to hike and visit all the beautiful trees and native plants. Fresh spring water waterfall right outside your tent door. The owners are so knowledgeable and friendly- they are doing such good work! Highly recommended place to camp. I miss you DeeDee the dog 😍

Stay here!
We loved our stay at Hagood farm. Wonderful hike to a beautiful creek with rock formations and a waterfall.
A BIG bonus …. Our hosts Heidi and Aaron. They are two genuinely kind and friendly people. Just a great experience in every way.

Fantastic hosts! They introduced my daughter to all their animals. Beautiful property! Camped next to a waterfall and creek. Would definitely recommend as a safe location camping as a female with her young child!

Spring on a farm!
We had an easy time getting to the site with Heidi’s instructions. We stayed in contact the day of our arrival and they were very accommodating even though we arrived much later than planned. There were multiple spots on the property but we decided to camp near the creek with a little waterfall that was just a little bit of a hike down from where we parked our car. It was beautiful and private even though we weren’t actually that far from the farm. Getting to meet and pet all of the animals was so fun! I also got to bottle feed one of the baby goats. All of the animals have names and personalities and they are obviously well loved. Heidi and her husband were very friendly and came to check up on us to see if we needed anything and even gave us some fresh eggs. We spent some time getting to know them and learning about their land. They have a lot of exciting plans for the property including some cabins and glamping coming soon! They got our feedback about our site which was a primitive spot and were very caring and thoughtful of our experience. The weather was so nice with spring flowers and buds popping up everywhere. We decided to stay and hike on their property instead of going to the nearby park and there was a good amount to see. The property is BIG and we got a little turned around which added a couple more hours to our hike but that wasn’t a big deal to us. It was a lovely getaway and we definitely recommend a stay here!
