Harmony lake has so much to offer, and just a hop, skip, and jump outside of the city! There are several amenities that are great for someone passing through, or looking to get out of town. There is some beautiful more remote tent camping on dry days, and also a site near their house that is not as private for rev's and campers with electric hook up. For water hook up, the water is not potable as it is from the lake.
They have a bathroom, shower, and laundry facility. We purchased firewood, and eggs from Ken, and the owners checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed.
Nice place and beautiful scenery.

Initially I picked this campsite because of its proximity to home and this is my first time taking out a camper or even hauling one for that matter. When I was late to meet my other friend there the hosts not only made her feel welcome but also reached out to me to make sure everything was going okay on my trip. Then when I arrived they gave us some time to set up and then made us feel very welcome by introducing themselves giving us some reasonable guidelines and letting us know about all of the amenities. Our campsite itself was nice and clean but it was a little difficult to find level ground so bring your leveling blocks. Once we got everything set up and secure we went to explore the grounds.
The campground has shower access with a toilet and running water. There were peacocks emus and other livestock that kept the place lively and campers were given free rein of their amazing land. This included a gorgeous gazebo on a quaint island in the middle of their small pond. You could access this gazebo across a floating dock that was lit up at night and absolutely breathtaking. During the day there were paddle boats, a trampoline and dock to jump into the water, a beach for sunbathing and sandcastle building as well as a small kitchen open to the water with lounge chairs. The kitchen consisted of a microwave, stove, grill, fridge, and other small kitchen appliances free to use by anyone.
During our stay the host went above and beyond for us, even replacing one of our fuses when it blew. They brought our dogs treats and gave us a bag to take home with us. Since got there rather late the night before they said we were welcome to stay a few extra hours and that's exactly what we did! Nothing but kindness and consideration and I could not have been happier with this little oasis just outside of the city. I will be recommending it to everyone and I hope to return soon.

We had a fantastic stay! Such a wide open space for our small 22ft trailer and our dogs were able to roam and run/fetch. The fire pit was awesome! The views were so great! We had a great time walking the floating path to the island to play and hang for awhile!

Ken and his wife have a great piece of land. They were both super helpful and prompt to respond to any questions we had. Our RV blew a fuse and not only did Ken come out to help diagnose the issue, he even provided an extra fuse free of charge. On top of that, they gave us some dog treats for the doges in our party. Clean bathrooms, campsites were evenly(safely) spaced apart allowing for both neighborly interaction and privacy, a large pond with paddle boats and trampoline all made for a relaxing overnight reprieve.

Sweet peaceful and fun stop while traveling .We have nothing but praise for the wonderful hosts and such loving stewards of their land. We stayed in the orchard with
Opal a beautiful horse watching over us.....floating on the lake along with our Aussies swimming ,.... Ate the yummy fresh eggs from the sweet chickens on site .....and we were lucky enough to get a handful of tomatoes and basel from the pergola garden for a snack in season.
ALSO - a bridge to an island with sound and shade. .... so much Magic....
Thank you Ken and Joan- your property swells with kindness and we were honored to be your guests.
big hugs from us and the pups

We stayed here for a weekend just to get away and try out a new camper. The camp ground is really nice, with RV and tent sites well distanced from each other -- close enough to be neighborly, but also keeping your privacy. The pond is nice as are the shared facilities, and Ken and Joan are wonderful hosts. We'll likely be back again for a relaxing weekend getaway.

The awesome lake and friendly hosts are definitely the highlight! Weather was not in our favor but the kids did get to enjoy the swim beach - with the trampoline and slide! - one afternoon and everyone loved the easy catch and release fishing.

Relaxing at the swim beach in the morning Both boys hooked the same fish!Floating walkwayView from the island
