Fun lake camping
Beautiful lake with small Beach area the kids loved. Pretty dock and communal firepit. Site was clean, graveled, and had a small level spot for a 4-6 person tent. We had a larger tent so it was a bit unlevel. We're used to camping in Missouri stateparks and found the site to be a bit small and other campers are quite close. Very nice bathhouse.
Stayed 3 nights and 2 days and enjoyed our time immensely. Our family of five, kids 3, 10 and 12, hiked, fished, kayaked, swam, and generally lounged at an easy carefree pace. The lake is clear and cool and the beach was perfect for the kids. The bathhouse was clean and regularly serviced by the hosts. We enjoyed sunsets on the dock each evening. The camp is currently being improved with new sites and cabins under construction. All the other guests seemed friendly and mutually delighted to have found this hidden gem.
This place is truly a hidden gem! Great stay, clean facilities, excellent seriously. The new campsites are super close together which was kinda annoying if you expected to have more space, but there are site more private so choose carefully for whatever your comfortable with. First time here, and I’d recommend for sure 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Beautiful, resort-like setting
This place was amazing. Absolutely beautiful! We stayed in one of the newer tent sites and it was just perfect for our needs. My son had a spill on his bike and Jonathan was on the scene with first aid to patch him up. I owe him a debt of gratitude! Best campground restroom/showerhouse I have ever seen. The lake is beautiful and so are the trails. We will definitely be back. - Thank you!
