If we have heavy rain this site will not be available, it has to be 3 or 4 days of heavy rain though, unless you want to float down the river in your tent.
If you have to relocate you may pick a spot in the main campground next to a smaller creek.

Beautiful scenery & private!
Michelle and Paul were very friendly. We stayed on the rock beach with our two German Shepherds, they especially loved playing in the two creeks right outside our tent. It was a beautiful location. The constant sound of running water was a wonderful ambiance throughout our stay. Keep in mind if you stay on this beach there are no vehicles allowed, so be prepared to carry your camping things to the site, but boy was that worth it! We had a great time and will be back! Thanks again Michelle & Paul!
Private beach side camping
There are a couple of different sites here. Most are in a large flat field on the far side of a creek. We stayed at a single, newly cleared primitive site next to the creek. The space was plenty large for tents but there is a path between 2 trees from the road. My Suburban fit fine but a motor home or pulling a trailer might be tight. All sites are near the county road and there is some traffic but the sound of the river muffles most of it.
Pros: The site was large and pretty flat with bushes providing a barrier to the road. It was right next to the most amazing creek tributary with moving water that connects to Logan Creek a hundred feet down stream. The creek is amazing and there was nobody there but us. Locals do use the creek but the weather on one day was great and we saw 2 other people. Seriously private beach. You can totally float down stream a few miles to a river crossing where the locals spend time at if you have a 4x4. We’re going to come back just to go floating and hang out on the beach when it warms up.
Cons: There were a lot of ticks so bring lots of deet. Maybe because the site had just been cleared. On the primitive site there’s no bathroom. There may be one across the creek but we didn’t go that far. The brush is pretty dense so maybe some challenges there. There was a very friendly local Corgi who decided he wanted to hang out. Not aggressive at all just wanted to hang with our puppy and didn’t want to go home. His name is Remy so say hi. Would totally come back.
Peaceful and private
Great spot tucked away in a little hollow. Great hosts who even supplied a little firewood for my spot. Great communication prior to arrival and during the stay. A pretty peaceful spot for sure..... Thanks again Paul and Michelle.
