Great spot with great hosts
We had a great experience camping here. The site was beautiful and the hosts were very nice and accommodating. The creeks are very pretty and make a great background noise. Will definitely come again in the summer when it's a bit warmer.
Beautiful, peaceful camping spot!
We loved our time camping on Shelly & Paul’s beautiful, quiet, tranquil land! Shelly greeted us as soon as we arrived and gave us very clear directions to their property. They had firewood stacked and ready for us on Friday night, and even replenished the pile for Saturday evening, which was much appreciated. We spent hours stargazing and fell asleep to the sound of the creek near our tent at night. Our dog enjoyed it, too. Loved seeing the horses grazing and playing in the pasture at dawn and dusk. It’s an ideal location to stay if you’re wanting to explore the Eminence area/Blue Spring/Rocky Falls. A Dollar General and a grocery store are located in Ellington just a few minutes drive from the site if you need anything. We will definitely be back to stay again this summer! Thank you, Shelly & Paul, for your hospitality and for sharing your land with us campers! :)
We enjoyed our stay here very much! Such a peaceful place with the creek rushing by right beside our campsite and a beautiful starry sky above at night. Michelle was a welcoming host and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit in the local area.
Beautiful place & friendly hosts!!
This was such a gorgeous place to stay for our camping trip, truly a beautiful piece of land. Paul and Shelly were so sweet and helpful; they pointed out some great hiking trails and a little swimming hole, all right by our site. Our pups loved it all as well! One of my favorite places to camp that I've come across, we'll definitely be back!
Fantastic location between two creeks. Flat land was great for parking and tents. Wood was supplied with a fire ring. Lovely host who gave great recommendations for local travel spots. We will definitely be back!
Really pretty place! It was on the cooler side and drizzly when we were there, but we still enjoyed the scenery and especially the creek. We're planning another trip to take full advantage of the water when it's hot enough to get in. Be advised there are a couple of roads nearby so maybe not the spot if you're looking for the most remote option possible, but we like our privacy and weren't bothered at all. Michelle greeted us at the main road but we didn't have any trouble finding it as we had detailed directions and info beforehand. Excited to return!
