First time we used Hipcamp and we were very happy with what we got. Cheryl was very kind and inviting. We helped milk the cow and feed the other animals and very much enjoyed the quiet place we had to stay.
One of the best
WOW OMG! Probably one of my favorite spots I’ve been to. Was very secluded and the hosts were amazing. They had a HUGE pile of wood for us, tender and starter sticks for the fire. They escorted us to the spot so we knew where to go. We will for sure be back. Love it!!!!
Cheryl and Lane were such wonderful hosts. We had SO much fun during our stay! Our daughter is almost 2 and she’s in love with farm animals right now, so this place was like heaven on earth for her! She loved feeding all the animals and petting them. We absolutely loved the private campsite, sky full of stars, singing of the coyotes and owls all night, and huddling around a perfect little campfire. There was room to play and explore and we just had such a great time. Our truck died when we were trying to leave, and Lane went above and beyond to help us and make sure we got back on the road! We will absolutely stay again!
Great getaway from the city
This was a great getaway camping trip for a weekend. I would def recommend this camp as long as it hasn't rained. It's not paved to the site, so it was a bit muddy getting back as it rained just a little the morning we arrived. Lane and Cheryl are both so welcoming and helpful. My daughter loved seeing the animals on the farm as we cooked by the campfire. We will definitely return again once the weather is warmer!
Lovely space, adorable cows
We had such a nice time camping at Fangthorn Forest! Cheryl was friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. She let us know when it was time to feed the animals and we got to say hello to the friendly cows. We had a pleasant, peaceful stay.
