Nestled into 80 very remote and undisturbed wooded acres in the Ozarks, Dockley Ranch provides unique getaway opportunities. Here, you will meet free-roaming alpacas, pastured goats, chickens, and our guardian dogs. Well-marked hiking trails lead from the house and garden through the woods, down to Columbine Falls and up through maturing oak stands.
Pull up a stool at the private Lafferty Cabin Bar along the trail to watch the sun set over the rugged Ozark hills. This newly constructed tavern resides under the preserved roof of an historic 19th century log cabin. Located 30 minutes from Ava, the “Treasure of the Ozarks,” and 1 hour from Springfield, Branson, and Mansfield, Dockley Ranch stands as an intentional preserve of natural beauty and peace of mind.

The campground was amazing. There was plenty of things to do, a great waterfall, and the tent and bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this campground and we will be returning.
OMG...it was more than perfect.
First off...it stormed...huge thunderstorms Friday night and alot of Saturday. The tent accommodations were great...warm bedding and very comfortable, they provide more amenities then I was aware and appreciated the back up stove when ours didn't work. Serene location with a short walk to the falls and lots of spots to take a seat and take in the beauty. The bkfst omelets and homemade bread/toast was wonderful and such a nice touch.
My daughter and I played cards, put up a tarp shelter...just to see if we could do it, built a campfire and enjoyed smores. Great hosts, enjoyed visiting with them.
Can't wait go back! Thank you. Enjoyed it all!

Thank you Myke and Claire for a wonderful night at Dockley Ranch. Our kids loved exploring the property and catching crawdads in the creek. The deluxe site was the perfect place to set up a tent for the kids and let the adults have the bed! We had a great time. Thank you for hospitality and sharing your slice of the Ozarks with our family!

Just amazing! We live close and just planned a last minute camping trip for a birthday and this really was perfect. Both the beds & cots were comfy, camp site was shaded, and the morning omelet delivery was top notch! Property was beautiful and we spent all day exploring, it was like being in a magic fairy tale. Claire & Myke are the nicest couple and have put a lot of thought into their property. The whole place is like one big art installation! They were happy to talk and show us around. We will be back!
Enjoyed camping at Claire & Myke’s Dockley Ranch in the Ozarks! It’s a perfect spot for two self sufficient friends or a travel loving couple who like the idea of an intimate campfire night beneath the tall majesty of black walnut trees.
It has the double charm of a primitive campsite but with a few additional amenities. The tent is large and open, with a wood bed frame and a mattress with sheets; there’s a table, lamp, and a welcoming bottle of wine, even. And, the tent is raised off the ground on a solid wooden platform.
Claire & Myke drop off their guests at the campsite when they arrive, but are also within walking distance, a short hike, really, if any emergencies arise.
From the campsite, you can walk to a nearby waterfall. And, if you are eager to swim, there are several great spots a couple miles just outside of the Dockley ranch, accessible by vehicle.
One of the best perks of the stay is the delicious omelets that are dropped off for guests in the morning!! It’s the perfect way to start the day!

Thanks Nicole! It was wonderful to meet you and host you. We hope to see you again soon.
