Found this place when visiting the caverns and very glad I did. Stop in for a wine tasting then buy a bottle to enjoy while you camp under the stars. The friendly hosts provide tables, chairs, and fire pits that can be moved wherever you need them. Great deal!

A relaxing evening with some good wine testing, and close enough to the Frisco Trail for a nice bike ride the next morning. Thanks

Dwight and Jean Crevelt founded 7C's Winery and have opened up the property to campers (both RV and Tent) and have space for about 10 or so dry campsites. The property is surrounded by farms on all sides, and is a quick 10-min jaunt south of the eastern arms of Stockton Lake. We also made the 1.5-hour drive to Ha Ha Tonka to check out the Castle Ruins and a friend's property in Camdenton.

Dwight was really cool about letting us park wherever made sense and the most level, though admittedly I took a couple tries to get lined up where I wanted. That said, there is PLENTY of room to navigate and get the right angle for the most level parking, though there are a number of slants to the grass areas that may be harder to level when it's full.

There are a number of spaces that could easily handle the biggest rigs and trailers. They can also accommodate dozens of tens, and often have bicyclists transit through as a focal point on the National Trans-U.S. and to-Alaska bike routes. There are technically no hookups, but Dwight is really cool about letting folks use the water. There is a restroom available in the gift shop area during regular hours (10a-6p), and there is also a port-a-potty with wash station halfway down the property for after hours. There is an outdoor shower with curtain on the side of the building. Free wi-fi is available, and we had 2-3 bars generally in the camper, about 150 ft from the shop. They provide a handful of portable fire pits, and Dwight usually has some firewood available. I told him he should start charging for it, but it was free while we were there (May 2021). They also have 6 or so frisbee golf holes, and there is a fun geocache on the property.

We had the entire place to ourselves save one evening when 3 tents setup. The only other company were Dwight and Jean, and the cows across the street on the neighbor's farm to greet us in the morning. Outside of the occasional full-ton truck or the cow's mooing in the morning, the property is very VERY quiet.

The Wine and Mead tasting were an amazing experience. You can try 6 wines or meads for free, OR for just $5 you can try twelve AND get to keep the sampling glass as a souvenir. They have about a dozen wines and 8 or so meads (wine-style made with honey), and they were all really enjoyable. I picked up 3 bottles of mead (including the habanero-infused mead!) and a dry red wine, and one bottle of clover honey mead for a gift. The have a fun gift and snack selection as well.

Dwight and Jean were unbelievable accommodating, super friendly to our whole family, and make some fantastic wines and meads. Anyone looking for a place to dry camp in the area NEEDS to look up 7C's Winery!

One of the walls of wines and meads for sale in the 7C's Winery store. They also have fun selection of gifts and snacks, as well as various cheeses. The wine and 3 meads I purchased after our tasting... one of them is habanero infused and they are ALL amazing! My interview with owner Dwight Crevelt (left).Aerial view of the property, facing south. All 6 of us had a wonderful stay here! Enjoyed a laid back, easy camping experience for one night. The hosts were thoughtful, easy to get in touch with, and had everything we needed (and more). The wine tasting was a bonus and would recommend to anyone in town!

Definitely recommend 7C’s Winery! Dwight and Jean and welcoming, kind and hospitable. Plus ... the mead is fun and fantastic. Be sure to splurge ($5) for the 12 tasting and take the taster glass as a souvenir.

Dwight is a terrific communicator and a very hospitable host. We enjoyed meeting and speaking with him on site. He made us feel right at home. This unique space is a bit off the Interstate but worth the drive. We enjoyed a wonderful fire in the firepit and barbecued up on the deck. Dwight was kind enough to supply us with quite the assortment of spices. And the wine is quite good! (Do yourself a favor and read the family's history on the Website - it's a great story!) The bathroom is clean and accessible. Our 4-year-old son loved running in the field and playing Frisbee golf all while keeping an eye on the neighboring cows. We also love that Dwight and his family support cyclists who roll through town. Highly recommend!
