Bobs property is an absolute gem! Bob is a stellar host and is great to talk to. We caught several fish out of it ponds, enjoyed the sunsets and walking the property. We took a good swim in the front pond and even kayaked a bit. At one point we even saw a beaver in the back pond. At night you can see the stars nice and clear. We will def be back!
The escape is a true getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Escape! A perfect tent site (#3), peaceful wooded paths to wander, and crystal clear lake fishing. Bob was a wonderful Host and we can't wait to return for a longer stay.
Stayed at Bob's place after anxiety from open camping at Janice Landing. Beautiful property and fresh berries all over. Plenty of perch in the ponds and some of the biggest Koi I have ever seen. Thankful for the quick approval to stay over and a beautiful night sky.
Trip was great it was everything I expected and more. Bob was an amazing host. Definitely would like to go back. Fishing is great so bring a pole.
Bob has a beautiful place plenty of stars and peace.
Great experience at the escape!
We loved the hanging tree pod that Bob provides with the campsite so you can relax in style looking out over the pond. And taking a dip in the pond was refreshing on a hot day. Bob was very welcoming, checking on us when a thunderstorm rolled in, and helped us out with some pots and pans that we had forgotten to pack.
