Sagamore Pond is located on our property and is stocked with catfish, bass, and pan/sunfish aka “Brim”. If you don’t have your own poles and lures, you can select them as an add-on & we will provide some for you!

Along with lots of free space & trails on & around farm, we are located at a triangle tip of public trails since the De Soto National Forest is a half hour from here. -Black Creek Canoe Trail -Black Creek Hiking Trail -Flint Creek Water Park Nature Trail

Providing guests are respectful and responsible, we have 2 kayaks and one inflatable paddle board that are complimentary to use at Sagamore Pond only. If you wish to paddle any of the neighboring creeks, there are rental services nearby that can accommodate you.

We often like to take a dip in the local creeks. We can direct you to the bridge up a few miles away or if it’s the right seasonal conditions, we may be able to offer foot access to a private creek entrance that we’ve personally enjoyed on more than one occasion.

The ecosystem is rich on our farm and you may have a chance to spot several species, including Hawks , Eagles, Wild Turkey & Hogs, Deer, Crawfish, and all kinds of other critters who live harmoniously at Sagamore Pond either seasonally or year round.

Our property is surrounding with lush forest and pasture, which you are welcome to respectively explore. The De Seto National Forest is 25 miles from us.

Or farm is surrounded by 4 fields, which we rotational graze our animals and/or host events & guests in during all seasons of the year. This means no matter what time of year, you can catch a beautiful sunset &/or sunrise in at least one of them.

Our property is very close to both the Red and Black creek, which have several local access points. We can offer seasonal access from our property through private trails, please inquire with the host about foot access.

Designated because the dense population of Sweetbay Magnolia Trees that inhabit the land, Sweetbay Bog Preserve contains 194 acres that near the Red Creek, within the Pascagoula Watershed. We also have a pitcher plant bog on the property. This species has been on the endangered plant list since 1979, so we kindly ask that you do not touch or disturb them whatsoever.

Our Farm is on 80 acres of rich soiled land that families have raised their children on for over 150 years. We are working on regenerating the land with permaculture practices, in which our animals help us accomplish. Our farm residents currently include pigs, cows, free-range chickens, and horse named Delilah, all of which we rotationally graze on the land. Then you have your hosts Amanda & Lee & their fur babies, Moonshine and Millie, who will occasionally have volunteers and/or appreciates staying with them at the main house. We are a working farm so please don’t mind us while we tackle daily projects, maintenance, and animal acts throughout the day. Feel free to walk around the property and fence-lines where animals are grazing and enjoy your surroundings, just be mindful of open gates & close them behind you!

Our property is set back on a long red clay driveway. You will see 2 large Live Oak Trees to the left & should immediately enter a gate the reads “Sagamore Pond”. You should see a few campers and RV parked on the land to the left & a long drive leading to the main house and farm ahead of you. Please drive straight down the driveway & park in the designated spot for Hip-Campers.
