Awesome, friendly hosts!! (my husband was a bit skeptical, but quickly calmed after meeting our very “normal” hosts!) Great location just a mile from Preston, MN, and the trailhead for the Root River Bike Trail system.
Level (gravel) parking spot, water and 30 amp service for our 21’ camper. (lots of other grassy areas for campers or tents)
It was our first HipCamp experience, and it exceeded our expectations!
{Hosts have friendly dogs, chickens, and horses. :)}
Next time we visit, I hope the caves are reopened!

What a sweet spot with the rolling fields and horses and picturesque barn!! Kristy and Doug are warm, friendly hosts who helped us get our travel trailer parked just right. The town of Preston is quant and has miles of paved bike trails along the river. We would return if in the area again!
