I love this site, our second trip where we really got to hike and discover the adjacent park that is pretty awesome. Next time we'll bring bikes!

I stayed here with three kids 8 and younger for two nights and we all had a wonderful time. We hiked the nearby trails and Split Rock was a big hit with the kids. Our campsite (#1) felt secluded, but was a close walk to where we parked for easy loading in/out. Stephen and Molly were also very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend!

Beautiful site! Molly and Stephen were excellent, warm hosts and the campsite (3) was awesome! Our kids (ages 4-8) found the creek to be endless entertainment. The hiking trails were the perfect length for families with kids, with lots to explore. Definitely hope to be back!

This place is amazing! I stayed two nights at site #4, with my tent literally 5ft from the babbling creek. The walk-in to the site from parking is an easy few hundred yards, if that, and it’s made even easier by the heavy duty utility wagon the host provides to bring gear in/out of camp. Total, there appear to be 4 wooded sites, each well groomed and private. Each of the sites are a short walk to the private, well maintained outhouse. The host also offers drinking water available from their well near the house. The site is also a short walk to the park and many miles of wooded walking/hiking trails. Peaceful. Well maintained and a short drive from the Twin Cities. The perfect overnight retreat! The hosts are the nicest people you can meet! I highly recommend this site!

Site #4. Can’t wait to go back! Beautiful property! Very quiet! Wonderfully maintained site #4! Bridge crossing the creek!

We love this Campground. There are only four sites three are in one area and the fourth one is off by itself. We were on campsite 2 and there were people at 1 and 3. We could barely see where they were at but you still felt very private. Its a short walk in from parking but there is a cart shared by the campsites. We walked up the hill to site 4 and that was a more open site but totally off by yourself. There are hiking trails and the property adjoins a park for more trails. We walked to the huge split rock, the waterfall, and the bridge. All short hikes but wonderful! Host was super nice and brought us fresh eggs. Sadly we left a day early because I got sick in the early morning and we had to leave (not Covid related). We especially liked the quietness and the seclusion here. Unlike the state parks and bigger campground where it's noisy and you are constantly encountering other people. We definately plan on coming back in the future. It was our favorite place so far.

This place was great! Very quiet. The host meets you with fresh eggs and shows you to your site. Property butts right up to a county park and a state park. Beautiful hiking paths with a water fall.

The #3 sight was nice and tucked away. All of sites 1-3 were nicely spaced with some privacy between (however, there was no one else around during my stay). Great trails into Caron Park from the property and Nerstrand State Park just a 5 minute drive down their road. I was greeted with delicious fresh eggs and the hosts were reachable when I reached out, otherwise I wasn’t bothered and barely saw anyone during my stay. This was ideal for me. I hope to return! Thank you for my peaceful stay.

We lucked out being the only ones to camp among sites 1-3, and we and our 3 year old had the best time exploring! We loved the coziness of site 2. Plenty of space to move around but it also felt like our own little piece of nature. The area is so peaceful and we felt more than safe and relaxed in the area. The campground was exactly what we needed and are already looking to go back this fall!
