The best of the best
Lovely place to stay if youre planning to spend time in the Duluth area. Peace and quite can both be found in abundance here in addition to a wonderful view of the night sky. Highly recommend
Amazing host & private location
This wasn’t our first choice for a location to set up our tent but it will be our FIRST CHOICE from now on. We had an incredible experience from a welcoming host. We were greeted with a gift and shown to our very private and clean camping location. Fire wood was provided and already in place for us to begin a fire when we arrived. HIGHLY Recommend!
Wonderful hosts! John was a great communicator. He made us feel very welcome on his beautiful property. We arrived after dark; John met us at the entrance in his golf cart and lead us to our site. His wife made a loaf of blueberry zucchini bread as a welcome gift. The camp is close to Jay Cooke State Park and the Black Bear Casino. The camp is named appropriately....Peace and Quiet. Thank you John and Terry. We had a wonderful visit. Mary and Bob from Chaska, MN
Can't wait to come back!
John and Terry are some of the best hosts you could ever ask for. The warm welcome and even warmer hospitality has now made this my go to camp spot when visiting Duluth or camping in general. Thank you for the wonderful weekend!
Above & beyond expectations!
John & Terry are great hosts! They took our son's family and my husband and I's reservation for 2 sites at the last minute and from that time, met our basic needs and beyond! Terry's welcome package was very homey and delicious! She even shared of her garden harvest and we had a great stew with it! The grounds were well kept, the scenery beautiful, and the privacy was awesome! You will be in great hands with John & Terry.! God willing, if they are still there when we go back that direction we will definitely look them up and stay again!
Great location, wonderful hosts!
Great place to camp and check out the wonderful surrounding area! John and his wife Terri were awesome and polite hosts. They really went above and beyond to make us welcome. I would stay here again next time I look to camp near Duluth.
Loved our stay!
We had a wonderful time enjoying the stillness of the evenings! Our hosts were great, welcoming us with a gift bag of goodies, including fantastic homemade banana bread and setting up the fire pit with the wood we ordered.
We will definitely be back!
The sites are beautiful with plenty of shade trees. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and made sure we were comfortable. They even helped leveling the camper. I will be returning someday.
