When we arrived we loved how the sites were set up. Beautiful yard, amazing garden. The campsites were dispersed throughout the property, and very kid friendly. There was a little swing set, and slide for little ones. My daughter Mia (2) really enjoyed playing on it. There was a little wooden box Library full of a wide range of books, and activities for all ages.
John/host greeted us upon arrival with a very sweet welcoming gift. Dog bones for our puppies, and fresh, homemade strawberry jam, which was delicious. Our daughter loved it on toast. The hosts were very nice, and accommodating. They had cut wood for us, all sorts of outdoor activities to choose from. Couldn't have been any better. Loved it there, would highly recommend. We will definitely keep this in mind for our next trip when heading up to the North Shore. Will go back for sure.
Great peaceful stay! Very close to Jay cook and Duluth. Thank you for the chives and onions from your beautiful garden! I will definitely stay again. Thank you for also helping me park!

Becky it was our privilege' to serve as your host. Please do come back. Thank you
Excellent setup and location. They have picnic tables, firepits, and several solar lights for a mutiple location camping setup here. It's a perfect setting and the location near Jay Cook State Park is fabulous. Hosts are wonderful, even set an alarm to guide us in at 2am to a spot and offered a more private spot the following day if we wanted. Great communication. The porta-potty is the cleanest you will ever use if needed. We hope to bring our camper for a longer stay with advance planning next time! Highly Recommend!!

Thank you for the kind words. Your always welcome on our land.
We loved camping on John and Terry’s land! We had a travel trailer which fit perfectly in a corner behind the barn/shed. It was perfectly quiet at night—enjoy the chorus of bullfrogs at night! John greeted us when we arrived and was so hospitable and accommodating. Enjoy their cute shed with lawn games to borrow and knickknacks to purchase! There is also a great little swing set our kids loved playing on. We will definitely be back!

Loved our stay. John and Terry were wonderful hosts. Greeted us with homemade bread, jam and coffee. They were very attentive while also giving space and privacy. The property was incredibly well kept and peaceful. Surrounded by trees. Very quiet. Definitely would stay again in the future.
We loved camping on John and Terry’s land, they were the absolute most hospitable people! John gave us tips on where to go for kayaking and his wife gave us a little welcome gift with home made goodies! We had to leave early due to rain but had a great stay while we lasted!

To bad the weather got so wet and nasty. You have to come back because the arrowhead has so much to offer. Thanks for the kind words.
Beautiful spot, convenient and private. Dog friendly for well behaved dogs. Host John was very friendly and helpful, we would stay here again.
Peace and Quiet lives up to its name. The property is beautiful and John and Terry were very welcoming. They provided maps and information about the area. John had the fire pit
loaded with firewood and Terry gave us a little care package. Access is very easy. We had a wonderful time and would go back if in that area again.
John’s land was private and well groomed. He was very helpful with the initial setup yet gave us plenty of privacy during our stay. Would highly recommend.
