The vintage remodeled camper trailer sits along a ridge overlooking our regeneratively-grazed pastures at Medicine Creek Farm. Take in the peaceful sight of grazing cows and sheep while sipping your morning coffee, and kick back at a campfire under the milky way just steps from a cozy place to lay your head. The camper trailer features original vintage fixtures alongside reclaimed hardwood floors and rustic woodwork.

Medicine Creek Farm is a beautiful expanse of gentle hills and low-lying wetlands on the edge of Minnesota's northwoods. Here, our farm animals live outside in their natural habitat alongside thriving wildlife like coyotes and wolves. Our rotational grazing system aims to improve the soil, water, and air through a cycle of conscious impact, rest, and regrowth, that mimics our earth's natural cycles. We hope your visit will inspire your own rest and regrowth through connection with the natural world.

While you're here we invite you to meet the animals, eat from the garden, canoe on the pond, mushroom hunt, bird watch, and support the surrounding businesses and attractions. Activities abound such as hiking, swimming, and kayaking the Kettle River at Banning State Park, biking the nearby Munger Trail, traversing the ropes course at Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center, listening to live music at the Vintage Pub, and tasting the flights at Moose Lake Brewery or Sapsucker Farm & Cidery.

Just 1.5 hours north of the Twin Cities and 1 hour south of Duluth, we are an easy weekend getaway with all the beauty of the Northwoods and excitement of a working farm.

The camper trailer sleeps two, but if you'd like to camp with friends and share the amenities (water, gas stove, and solar electricity), you may add people to your reservation and there is plenty of space to pitch a tent or two nearby.

If you’re looking for an even more luxurious getaway at the farm with full amenities, please see our listing for the Timber Frame Barn Stay!

We had a great time staying on the ridge. My son loved meeting all of the animals and we learned so much. Beautiful sunset sitting by the campfire. Nice to have the French press for our morning coffee. We went to Banning State Park and the Goose Garden to hike. My son has already asked to visit again sometime.

Hannah was a great host and my bf and I had a peaceful evening in her gorgeous remodeled camper on their lovely farmland! We had everything we needed to feel right at home. The perfect balance of hanging comfortably in nature. We will definitely be back.

Hands down the best farm stay experience we have had. The camper trialer is beautifully done... simple, clean, and comfortable. The outhouse is also very clean. It's a perfect getaway where you can leave feeling equally refreshed and inspired. We enjoyed the serentity of the landscape and sounds of nature. The sunsets here are stunning and perfect for an evening around the fire. Banning state park is very close and has some nice hiking trails, waterfalls, and Rapids. Don't miss out on booking a farm tour with Hannah! So many cute animals and artfuly designed structures to see. She is unbelievably knowledgeable and a very gracious host.

Our stay in the camper was great. The renovation was done so thoughtfully and we were more than comfortable. We had a really relaxing time and were even treated to an overnight thunderstorm.

This place is an absolute gem!
My husband and I are used to backpacking/ tenting so this was a great glamping experience for us.

The property is beautiful. We loved watching the sunsets and seeing the Milky Way from the picnic table outside. The views of the cattle and sheep in the distance is very peaceful. The pigs are not too far away to pay a visit and feed veggie scraps. That said, while this is on a farm, you don’t smell it unless you are near the animals - we highly recommend the farm tour! Rotational grazing farming is what’s up!

The camper is neat, comfortable and well stocked. We had fun making Jambalaya in the little kitchen area using some veggies we got from the Sandstone Farmers Market (small stand open 9-noon until October 30th) and were able to use the indoor wood fire stove to keep warm when needed. The couch pulls out to make a decent size bed for two. I would suggest bringing a blanket or sleeping bag to lay down over the cushions to keep warm and keep yourself from going into the creases - also extra blankets if it gets colder. We slept amazingly with two sleeping bags, pillows and an extra blanket.

The outhouse was well kept and well ventilated. I would recommend bringing a headlamp in order to get there at night.

All in all, this is the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away. We came to the area to visit Banning State Park which was only ten minutes away so it all worked out wonderfully.

Thank you for the amazing stay we hope to be back!

Staying in this vintage camper was magnificent. Host Hannah welcomes us in with open arms. Inside we found everything that we needed and we booked this place last minute for a night away from the city. Hannah was very accommodating to our needs and shared her beautiful land with us including the camper, the animals, and she also shared a bit about here life 🙌🏽. Highly recommend, definitely will be back!

Our stay at the vintage trailer was lovely! the farm was quaint and charming, and the camper is far enough away from the host’s living area so you don't feel too intrusive. The outhouse is a bit further away from the camper without a clear path to get to it (tall grass throughout), so be prepared for that.

This is a very cool unique space that my wife, 5 year old daughter, and I stayed in for a night. The camper was Unique and cozy, with a comfortable bed, nice little kitchen, and cozy sitting area. The camper has electricity via solar power. The kitchen has a gas fueled stove that was great to make breakfast with! Hannah the host was very friendly and accommodating. My 5-year old has been raving about the farm tour we received from Hannah. Definitely highly recommended!
