Matt was a very nice host. We had a great time here, the storm on the last night was a little crazy and our tent ended up flooding. We definitely recommend the place, very pretty, and in a great location.
Ups & downs
Our campsite was a hill. Not ON a hill but an actual hill so we had no picnic table or fire pit nearby. We did the best we could with the two boards left to help us find level but still ended up sleeping at an angle. The only flush toilet was badly iron stained. Traffic was busy since they offer paintball and axe throwing during the day. They offer other "campsites" around the company parking lot but ours was the only one with electricity.
The remote (primitive) campsite past the large shed was beautiful, if you don’t need electric. We needed 30amp service so we needed to park near the shed. I’d recommend bringing several extension cords so you can park in a more level area near the fuel tanks. Good space to walk the dogs in the morning. Very easy to find.
Peaceful evening and night
Evenings and overnights we're extremely quiet we have the place to ourselves. During the day there was a lot of traffic for paintball and ax throwing but it was across the very large parking lot and they were very respectful of our space.
The setting was awesome. It was close 2 several areas we were going to but it felt like we were many miles from any town.
