If you are coming to the Iron Range to get outdoors and want to really immerse in nature, this is the place to do it! Easy access on Hwy 6, just six miles north of Crosby and near world class mountain biking trails. Enjoy a half mile of Mississippi River frontage with beautiful views. The land has trails throughout the 20 acres for you to get around, but it is also very wild and undeveloped. Feel free to explore! Only sites 1 & 2 are accessible by AWD vehicles. Site 3 has a wagon for transporting gear the roughly 300 yards past Site 2 that you need to go.

Three kayaks and a canoe are available for guests to paddle the river with. Please let us know if you will want access to the boats, they are in the shed.  Public boat access is across the river from the property and parking for a boat is available. New bait shop is also directly across the road from the land. Land is also right next to the Bridge Tavern so you don't even need to cook while camping here! You can enjoy a great burger and drink and walk back to your campsite.

This place is amazing!! This place is for the hammock people, dog people and people that like a little walk to there site. The owners greeted us at the site. Were very welcoming. The sites are far apart plenty of privacy. The dogs had a blast!! I would recommend well behaved dogs that have good recall. Don’t ruin it for rest of us who have well behaved dogs please. We had a blast kayaking to different islands(bring a life jacket). We could dock our kayaks rate at our site if the water wasn’t so low. Site two has an amazing beach that you can launch your kayak from or a canoe. There is is so many amazing things to mention but my favorite I think was the view and firewood already for you. Not just split but kindling and logs. This is definitely a luxury when camping. This was an amazing trip and amazing hosts. We will be scheduling another trip very soon!!

We stayed at campsite #3 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The site was right along the Mississippi River, with amazing views and the feel of solitude. There was firewood and a fire ring available for use, which was awesome. Note for people thinking about booking this place: the trails to the sites are very rough and hard to navigate. It sounds like very few people drive all the way to site #3. If you want to drive to your site, it sounds like site #2 would be the best option. Otherwise you'll need to walk most of the way there. Leah said they will be doing work widening the trails at some point. The location is perfect - about a 6 minute drive into Crosby. Great for people visiting for mountain biking.

Free firewood - a huge bonus! The drive to campsite #3 was a pretty rough. She does plan on widening it out at some point, which will make it easier.Beautiful views from campsite #3!

We're still so impressed with your ability to navigate the Northwoods like a boss! You are absolutely correct, Site #3 is not for a regular car, and even some Jeeps struggle to make that drive. Thanks for your review and for staying!

Beautiful spot, as described. Lots of firewood provided, very quiet. Campsites nicely spread out - we didn't see or hear the other campers at all.

Tip: As the hosts recommend, I definitely encourage you to check to see if your vehicle can traverse the road - our Honda Element did ok, but our friend's Kia wouldn't have made it. Glad we didn't try!

Very nice, convenient and quiet campsite. We stayed at campsite two and it was perfect for our quick getaway to hit the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Park. Seeing as how it is right on the river we thought the bugs would be terrible but they were actually not that bad at all! The only downside would be I'd recommend bringing an SUV that has a pretty decent clearance if you're staying at camp #2. I brought my Hyundai Tucson and that was cutting it a little close.
