ESCAPE to nature, UNPLUG and ENJOY your stay under a canopy of oak, elm and basswood. Explore the woods, have a bonfire, and use our site as your basecamp for exploring the area.
The tent is a spacious 13' x 20' and sitting on a large wooden deck. Inside you will find a king-size bed, dinette and a cozy seating area near the wood burning stove. Solar string lights and led lanterns create a warm glow after dark. Vintage games and a collection of books will keep you entertained during inclement weather. You're gonna love it here!
This is an off-grid stay with no running water or electricity. Mother Nature is our co-host. Bring your favorite bug deterrent.
NOTE FOR COOL WEATHER STAYS (Nov -Mar): Winter Camping is for the truly adventurous. Dress in layers! Bring warm socks! Pack a sleeping bag for extra insulation. The wood stove will have you sweating BUT once the wood burns out, it'll cool off fast. You will wake up chilly and need to stoke the stove to warm up again.
We provide Bedding, Kitchen towels, Coffee and Tea, French Press, Mugs, Kettle for boiling water, Utensils, Plates, Glasses (and a pair of wineglasses for those special occasions), Small cast iron fry pan and spatula, Propane camp stove, S'MORE SUPPLIES!

Very lux glamping! Perfect distance from Minneapolis for a quick night away from the kids. My only regret is that the wind was intense for most of our visit which impeded our ability to do much by way of fire or cooking. But it was lovely to snuggle up in the cozy bed under the twinkle lights and read a book! ❤️ We’d love to come back.
We enjoyed our stay Hedinskogen 4 Season Tent. The atmosphere was cozy and the tent was warm. With a nice long wooded drive to get to the site the peace and quiet are abundant. The tent is very spacious, and the layout is perfect. We stayed in the middle of winter with a below freezing night. The furnace is large and kept the heat up throughout our stay. We brewed tea on the top and enjoyed the warm embrace of the wood heat. Plenty of lovely places to relax and well stocked with supplies. The lounge area next to the fire was a great place to play games. The bed is gorgeous and ties the room together so well. We brought a cold weather sleeping bag and below the provided blankets we slept throughout the night only to wake up once the sun began to rise. The floors are carpeted well and with some slippers are feet stayed comfortable. As it was winter, the day was short and the night was long. We were given the perfect full moon evening, and as we sat inside the provided lighting was more than enough to keep our games flowing. This was a perfect place to get away and enjoy each other's company. Would highly recommend this site to our friends and family.
