Great property, Darling cabin! We especially loved the screened in porch and fire ring. Clean Porto potty!

Very cool off-the-grid cabin with tons of land for us two and our dogs. There’s an established fire pit, with a table and a bench, lots of dishes and utensils in the kitchen if needed, and there was plenty of firewood on-site. The water access was nice for kayaking through the lily pads in the morning. Mosquitos were fierce in the evening (it is after all Minnesota), but we never had any inside the rustic log cabin! The Porto-potty was clean and stocked with toilet paper, and the hand pumped water in the kitchen worked well for hand washing and dishes. Would absolutely recommend, and stay there again!!

Lovely cabin but cleanliness issues

This was a lovely site and the cabin was generally as described in terms of location and amenities. Our concern was with cleanliness—although it’s nice to have blankets and pillows provided, they didn’t seem super clean & we were very glad we brought our own, and there were a few kitchen drawers with items that looked as if they’d been chewed by mice. There also wasn’t a way to lock the cabin from inside and not all the windows could be covered for privacy. These are all issues that could easily be fixed & once they are I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to someone who doesn’t mind not having electricity or indoor plumbing.
