Flying L Vineyard was a great quick stay for us on a Friday night after work. Stephen was a great host! He had firewood ready for us when we got there and checked up on us after we got settled in to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and the campsite was nice and secluded from the others. Our morning walk was a highlight of the trip for sure!

This is a nice place to stop to get out of cities right after work on a Friday and feel like you've gotten out of town in time for a sunset and a campfire and to have privacy and quiet. It's a nice 20 acre property with a vineyard field and surrounded by wooded park area with deer wandering around. Stephen is a super nice host and he left us alone after showing us where the site was. The sites are spread out and not in line of site, but you can walk around the vine field and visit with others if they are there. Bring everything you'll need since there is only a firepit, but plenty of flat ground for tent, RV, or trailer. We slept in our little teardrop trailer with the door open all night as we watched the fire go out and the stars become brighter. There is some rode noise.
Stephen was a kind and helpful host and the property is beautiful. The toilet and shower options are extra rustic, so be prepared for that. There is also some traffic noise from the nearby road. Still, I had a pleasant stay :)
The location was perfect. The host was very helpful, and friendly. I would definitely love to stay at the vineyard again. The site was intimate and comfortable. The view of the vineyard and field behind the property was beautiful. Close enough to run to the dollar store if missing any necessities!
Stephen and Julie are welcoming, down to earth people who really care about your comfort and enjoyment of your camping experience. Stephen provides kindling, firewood, and even a tree pruner so you can help yourself if you run out of what is waiting for you on arrival. Join them for some friendly conversation and a campfire if you’re not up to making your own. They are warm and sociable people who are interested in hearing your story and sharing their own. Do yourself a favor and indulge yourself in some time at Flying L Vineyard!

I had a wonderful stay here! The site the location and the host were everything I could ask for!
Peaceful and accommodating getaway
I’ve been to Stephen’s beautiful vineyard multiple times and hope to continue coming. It’s such a special spot. Stephen was very accommodating and kind during our stay. The wildlife was also incredible to see and hear. Lots of bats flying around catching all the bugs over the pond.
