What a cute little spot just outside of Duluth. Our hosts did such a lovely job creating such a magical place and making everyone feel welcome. Danny’s Tent had everything you needed for an elevated camping experience. Highly recommend!
What a lovely place! The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Danny’s tent had everything you need for a few quiet nights away and location was perfect to enjoy all the fun of Duluth and hiking trails of the North Shore. We can’t wait to come back!
One special moment for me was as I sat in the open area and just relaxed in one of the beautiful hand hewn rockers they have there. I just laid back and looked up at the top of the very tall trees blowing in the wind. It was so relaxing.
Linda and Chris are some of the best Hipcamp hosts we’ve ever had! They are simply amazing and their property is stunning! This place is a literal oasis just outside of Duluth! It’s close enough but just far enough away where you feel secluded! Each place you look on this property, there’s something magical hidden! They’ve thought of everything!! We will be back soon! Thanks so much Linda and Chris for sharing your beautiful space and kindness!

We had a great time at Danny’s tent, celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday over the 4th of July weekend! It was so peaceful & the ambiance was great! We played cribbage by the campfire each night! The hosts, Linda & Chris, are so friendly & welcoming! We’d definitely be back again!

Linda’s property is forest so as you relax in front of the tent you are surrounded by birdsong and the murmur of leaves. Linda has thought of every contingency. There is water inside and outside the tent, a fan if it gets hot, a wood stove, soap and towels. The site is beautiful and carefully curated. Linda and Chris are supremely welcoming and wonderful hosts. There are welcoming communal areas with comfy chais, a screened gazebo-type area, and a pond surrounded by wildflowers.
