Val and Bill were very kind, and ideal hosts. We received a warm welcome and had everything we needed. It was a great weekend at their place. Sunset over the lake was beautiful. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay! Val and Bill obviously put a lot of thought and care into the comfort of the campers and compsites. The site itself was flat and covered in a layer of woodchips, with 2 chairs and a fire ring. Wood was available under a covered shelter, which was great because there was a lot of rain when we arrived. Access to a lovely, clean, warm indoor bathroom and the 'shed' with coffee maker and microwave was especially appreciated on those rainy days. The sites are somewhat close to the house, but the way they are designed felt very private and since we were surrounded by several acres of wild land, it still felt like we were sleeping in the woods. Pearl Lake is a very short walk and canoe is available to use. There is also a very nice finished attic studio with kitchenette above the garage, which we may try sometime in colder weather.
