Great hidden gem
Perfect location, close to Silver Beach and downtown St. Joe's or downtown Coloma and other little towns in the area. At the campground we saw wild turkeys and several types of birds. Heard the rooster in the am. Campground was great, well maintained and spacious. Port a John clean. We could not have asked for better. We tent camped, site , 2. Perfect in woods yet got sun for our solar panels. Kevin very responsive and he checked in on us to be sure we were comfortable or had questions. The kids roamed the paths, while we sat at the fire. This is our new spot when we visit the area. Private and inviting. We will be back! Thank you Kevin!!
Great star gazing.
The place was very clean and bathrooms where nicely kept up low odor. Great privacy lot 2 is not very level and are friends had to join us on our lot due to the distance from each other. Lot one could fit two small teardrop trailers or a couple of tents. We would have like to meet the host a d here about the history of the property. Loved the location to Lake Mi just 5 mins away. Get there early to find parking. Great star gazing in camp.
Peaceful and hot... stars were grea
This was a nice place and close to Lake Michigan. I've stayed at other Hipcamps and I expected some sort of interaction from the host. This was truly a solo experience. I think Kevin could benefit from some sort of interaction or greeting and maybe a little letter about things to do in the areas. Thank you for sharing your land it was greatly appreciated.
Sweet sixteen summer stay
Beautiful location and very private. We truly enjoyed our stay and Kevin was extremely generous even bringing us fresh eggs and his generator to help us inflate our air mattress. Lots of mosquitoes right now so be aware of that. Definitely recommend Sweet Sixteen though and will be back next summer for sure!
Beautiful farm. The camp sites are a little uneven and there is a lot of sand. If you have a heavy vehicle like a motor home or a van you might want to stay clear. Host were very nice and there is a super sweet cat. Location is great, between Saugatuck and St. Josephs is perfect.
We had a great time at the Sweet Sixteen Campgrounds! The site was easy to find, and Kevin was very helpful prior to our stay. Only a 10 minute drive from Hagar Beach right on Lake Michigan. Would highly recommend this hidden gem!
