I must admit I was a bit disappointed that the cabin was under construction but decided to go here anyway and just tent it up. When we first got there, the horses were roaming around camp and it was an awesome welcoming. They stuck around as we unpacked and my niece and I were in heaven- they were just the sweetest animals. Rebecca had supplied us with plenty of water and wood, the outhouse was kept clean and was super convenient that it was just steps away. It was a nice open and private area with beautiful views of the fields and horses. Being my first long trip with my niece, I was nervous she would get homesick or bored. She absolutely loved the place. While I was getting food ready, she would run around with my dog, swing on the swing and after building some confidence, played with and pet the horses. I will definitely be coming back to stay longer!!

Staying in the cabin was a wonderful experience away from the city for our entire family. Our children really loved playing in nature and feeding the horses. We took hikes all over the property and were able to take short trips to Marquette and Munising. Rebecca made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend it!
Someplace Else is an amazing spot. Private, peaceful, all our basic needs met. Friendly horses and dogs to play with, swimming hole a short drive up the road. Perfect
Someplace else is magical! Our family of four was very comfortable in the A frame. Everything was so clean and welcoming and the surroundings were just stunning! We saw so much wildlife while there - deer, fox, snakes, and so many frogs. We stayed two nights and didn’t want to leave. Truly a special place.
We had such a wonderful time. The site is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed (even more than the site page says is available). Becca was lovely, very communicative, and even brought us fresh fruit! The night sky was as amazing as we had hoped. We would 10/10 come back and recommend to a friend.
This place fulfilled all our expectations!
UP experience we were looking for was at Rebeca’s hidden and wild place.
The cabin is located at the edge of a beautiful forest with a view on flowered fields. Dogs and horses were sharing the place with us.
Inside, we have found more amenities than expected. Gas Stove and oven, water, electricity, light, place for 4...
But the best was outside under the stars without any parasite lighting.
Yes, go there.
The place was awesome. It was like a tiny cottage in wilderness. The place was very peaceful and relaxing.. Rebecca was a wonderful host and very welcoming. She even gave us tomatoes from her veggie patch. Would love to visit again.
Rebecca has a beautiful property. We were sad to leave after our week long stay. The horses are so beautiful, we loved watching them out in the field. It was so peaceful. The little cabin was cozy and had a good amount of cooking supplies. Rebecca found a gardner snake and kept it as a surprise for our 7 year old. She is a very sweet, kind person.

One of the best places we've stayed at. We enjoyed breakfast over the fire and a good night's sleep in the cozy little cabin. The moonlight and stars are unreal. We met Rebecca on our way in and out and she was a delight. Will definitely stay here when in the area again! We didn't do much exploring as we were there to visit pictured rocks which was about an hours drive.
