Camping on Jessica's land was a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend camping here. The farm was so nice to visit during the day. The campsite we stayed at was well kept, private, and had a comfortable outhouse. Would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic time tent camping at Poplar Pines in late July 2022. Jessica is super-duper responsive and provided valuable information. We had LTE /5G cell reception but chose to set the phones in airplane mode for the weekend. No car noise, great nighttime sky, lots of trees for shade and hammock. There’s potable drinking water within a short walk to the farm. Each site has an individual outhouse -- ours had a nightlight, was super clean and didn’t smell at all! There was a good bundle of wood as we got to the site but we requested more and it was delivered within an hour -- which by the way, you get way more for $5 here than you do at any state campground. Site #1 is very secluded and closest walking distance to the farm. We were are Site #3, which is the largest site and farthest from the farm (but still very walkable). Sites #2 and #3 could see each other, but there’s plenty of trees in between and they’re about 50’ feet apart, if not further. We’re adults but we enjoyed feeding the goats just as any kids would--absolutely adorable setup! We had such a fun and relaxing time and will definitely be back! Thank you to Poplar Pines!

Ahhhhhh, such a lovely, quiet, peaceful place to camp. We had the forest to ourselves and it was the perfect get away. Highly recommend this spot!

We LOVED camping here for 4th of July weekend! Even with other campers there, it was so quiet and peaceful and we truly felt secluded in our site. It was a beautiful location tucked into the woods, the host was great, and it was overall a great escape for our trip "Up North". We will definitely be back!

Really great spot to get away from busy life and reconnect with nature. The host was very welcoming and provided everything we needed for our stay. We got to feed the goats and visit all the farm animals, the ducks and rabbits were particularly neat! I would highly recommend others visit this location! Thanks so much, Jessica!

I loved camping at this great place. Very peaceful, secluded, but loved being able to walk over the little petting farm. The host was very kind and helpful with directions and instructions! I would definitely come back here and would recommend it to anyone.

We camped on Jessica's farm (Poplar PInes) from Friday, June 10 through Sunday June 12th, 2022. The farm is slightly off the beaten path out in the "middle of nowhere" - exactly how I like it! There are currently 3 sites which are a good 100 feet or more away from each other, with a clean outhouse that includes a nightlight, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and some reading material! The sites are well maintained with a fire ring (no grate) and a picnic table and enough room for a car and two large tents. The campsites are in the back half of their 10 acre plot and are quite private. We were the only ones there this particular weekend and so it was especially quiet. We did visit their petting farm, fed the goats (bring lots of quarters), miniature horses, sheep, and chickens and chatted with the owners for a bit. They seem like nice people who work hard and take pride in their farm and campsites and were very easy to talk to. It was a 45 minute drive to downtown Traverse City, and a 10 minute drive to the nearest grocery store in Mesick. No mosquitoes yet at this time of year but we did remove two ticks from our dog. All in all, we loved the site and would happily recommend Poplar Pines to others who are interested in a quiet place to camp rustically!
