We've lived on this plot of land for 28 years and can't imagine being anywhere else.  We're situated on seven acres of peace and quiet with a long view across the countryside. We love to camp but in the summer often find ourselves in crowded campgrounds that make us long for the quiet of home. There is an amazing hiking trail across the road (Skyline Trail/North Country Trail) where you can really escape into the woods. But we are only 10 minutes from our adorable town and 10 minutes from the beach. Nirvana.

    The hosts were really great, and it was in a beautiful location for fall colors. We stayed nice and warm in the little camper, even though it was chilly fall weather outdoors. Very good experience overall.

    Such a wonderful spot! The camper & site were exactly as described. Sue & Doug were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. The view was gorgeous, and I loved the beach at Petosky State Park. Would definitely visit again!

    This is by far my favorite Hipcamp I've stayed in! Sue and Doug were very gracious hosts. Even invited me in for dinner! As a solo woman traveler, I felt very safe on their property! They have a bathroom with shower for guest use. It was just a few steps from the camper and separated from the rest of the house, so I never felt I was imposing. This was an all around favorite location! I can't wait to tell more people about it!
