Incredible space tucked under a canopy of trees. Great mix of shade and light. And John has thought of everything. If you like to cook when you camp, it is all here, everything you would need, including an amazing prep space. One of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed at, and an incredible value. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved staying on the vinyard and picking grapes. John was very helpful getting us set up and stopping by a couple more times to make sure we had everything we needed and offer info on the area.

We appreciated all the work John puts into the place. We had plenty of seating, some supplies provided, bins for recycling and trash and a clothesline. It made it everything so easy.

It did rain off and on while we were there, the tree cover over the camp made it so we could still hang outside without getting too wet.

We had so much we wanted to do in two nights. We biked to wineries. There are so many within a couple miles, we liked Red Top best. We also went to Warren Dunes. Hiking on the dunes followed by jumping in the lake was a fantastic and unique experience. We want to come back to John's again since there is so much to do, see, eat, and pick in the area.

John's place was an amazing location for a quick weekend getaway in Michigan wine country. There were tons of amenities and the vineyard was beautiful. Cant wait to come back next summer!

John is a warm welcoming host who has thoughtfully created an amazing camping experience. This year my friend and I stayed at the Vineyard site. It is spacious and well appointed, with a nice grill, work station, fire ring, covered wood, utensils, a picnic table plus another table near the fire and lots of chairs.
You are welcome to grab a tomato, pepper or some fresh herbs from his garden and John is always a available to answer your questions.
There is even a “Leave something Take something” bin that saved us from taking a trip into town. There was a 1/2 bag of charcoal in there!

Hiking Warren Dunes. The trails are so diverse!Hiking Warren Dunes..that’s me on the top!So many wineries to choose from! We counted at least 10 in the immediate area!A fire each night to end the day.
(John provides your first fire …beautifully split!)

This is a very cool spot. The area is perfectly set up for a fun outdoors experience, with added personal touches like tiki torches, a kitchen area, and a very clean port-a-potty. My family and I happened to camp here for two nights when a storm had recently run through, followed by 90 degree temps, and we still had a wonderful time! The mosquitos had died down to a manageable level by the second night. My two boys loved setting up camp, cooking over a campfire, running though the vineyards, and relaxing near the tent with board games. The Weko Beach area is a short drive away, as is the Round Barn; both perfect for kids and adults to have fun. My kids loved it, and we will be back!
