We have 80 acers. Lots of wild life. Farm animals and we also have a farm store. The campsites will be located by the trout pond. We offer rustic camping. Rv are welcome. We are trying to come up with special events on the weekend's for kids. Quite time will be at 11pm. Please pick up your site before leaving. ** open May 1st- October 31st 18 miles away you have Traverse City State Park. All you city-dwelling nature seekers out there will no doubt appreciate Traverse City State Park’s two-mile proximity to the action of one of Michigan’s most bumpin’ resort towns. Brushing up against the Grand Traverse Bay, which provides this beautiful park with a ¼ mile of shoreline, this 47-acre urban escape is home to a National Cherry Festival and self-guided tours of fall tones, and near to wineries and casinos that can sure make for a memorable stay. 24 miles away you have Hartwick Pines State Park. The bigger the better we always say—9,672 acres of Old Growth Pines makes Hartwick Pine among the giants in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan—more for you to ‘splore! The forest was once home to a booming lumber industry. Revisit through master storytelling the tales of the “shanty boys” who turned the forest into timber land. Step into a time machine and dig into rich history from the Visitor’s Center museum that recreates the vibe of the old town, then get your socks and shoes outside! With rolling green hills and ancient groves of trees, Hartwick is a photographer’s dream. Enjoy numerous habitats to explore and hit the trails that accommodate any level of hiker or biker. Big adventure is calling. Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them and they are leashed.

Site 5 - Mossy Creek Farm
Kristina and her husband were very nice! They greeted us when we arrived and pointed where to go. It was a little hard to find the entrance, but not too bad. The camp site was really pretty, right by a little pond with a great view of the pumpkin patch and the changing trees. :) it was very cold and rainy so we were the only campers, but it was nice and private without feeling too isolated. There was a sturdy little outhouse for bathroom use that seemed overall clean. After setting up camp, we went exploring around the farm a bit, and we got to meet all the lovely animals! The day we left, we got to do some fun activities! We saw on Facebook they were offering a hay ride, pumpkin picking, apple slingshot, pumpkin bowling, and feeding the animals, all for $10 each. I thought that was very cute and a great deal. The apple slingshot was a lot of fun. All in all, a nice campsite run by nice people with fun activities if you stick around. A lovely way to celebrate the fall. 🍁🎃

Site 1 - Mossy Creek Farm
It was a perfect setting! Out in the “back 40” next to a pond in a well maintained area. The hosts introduced themselves and my son and I got a tour of all the animals on the farm. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful quiet area. May want bug spray later in the year but in May not many bugs even. Hosts were gracious when we arrived later than expected.

Rustic Camping on a Farm
Spent the weekend here and loved the property. The host was great at checking in and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed getting to meet the animals and explore the farm. The campsite was well kept and we had few issues with bugs (a big plus). The only minor inconvenience was not having an outhouse/toilet, but otherwise, everything was great! We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to come back in the future!

Mossy Creek Farm
Best Private Campsite!
This was a great secluded campsite! Fishing available in the trout pond. Great view of the sunset. Lots of space for kids and pets to play and have fun. The hosts were excellent in getting us everything we needed & helpful in answering any questions we had! The farm animals were such a plus for the kiddos. It was also awesome to be able to purchase fresh farm eggs!! Absolutely loved camping here & we will be back! Ended up inviting 2 other friends with their families after we arrived. We all loved how private it was!

Mossy Creek Farm
Best private campsite!
This is one of my new favorite places to camp. It’s very private, secluded. After arriving there, we ended up inviting 2 other friends & their families. We had the entire place to ourselves! Hosts were very kind, helped us with anything we needed! We had a wonderful stay & will be back again. The farm animals were a bonus for the kiddos, along with the option to purchase fresh farm eggs! Thanks for having us!
