Enjoy an outdoor experience in beautiful Leelanau County via Agritourism at Jackson Station! Our property has 4 private sites situated among a dense pine forest on our small-scale farm.

Our farm raises pigs, chicken, cattle, and grows seasonal produce. Farm products like fresh eggs, veggies and whole packaged chicken may be available for sale ~ Just ask! Get a tour of the farmstead, help collect eggs, learn how to feed the animals or simply enjoy the scene at your leisure.

We're located conveniently between the two popular vacation destinations of Glen Arbor and Leland, MI - both a short scenic drive in either direction. The Leelanau Peninsula is littered with recreational opportunities including shopping, dining, hiking, biking, beaches, boating, wine tasting, fishing, and hunting.

Look for the "Welcome to Camp" sign off of our farm's driveway, you'll be welcomed into a wood-chipped central Common Area to find each site marked then tucked into the woods, giving you plenty of separation. The ground is kept clean and bedded with wood chips, while each individual site is equipped with a small bonfire ring and a clothesline.

In the center of the private sites is the Common Area where you'll find: •A clean, high end portable toilet w/ hand sanitizer, •Garbage and Recycling bins, clean recycling only. •Bonfire ring with a cooking grate; • 2 fold out tables; •Firewood (Please make a donation based on what you use) and space for parking your vehicle.

You may park 1 vehicle at your site's access point. If you're traveling with more than one vehicle, we ask that you please park additional vehicles next to the driveway for "overflow parking" to keep the Common Area open for mixed use. Please limit each site to 6 people and 1 recreational lodge per site (tent or other). If you're traveling in a larger group or meeting more people here, we recommend you book 2 sites next to each other (such as Site 1 & 2 or Site 2 & 3).

A short walk down the driveway to the end of the farm fence and garden, you'll have access to a water pump for delicious drinking water, to fill containers of water or for rinsing.

The property borders the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You'll be just a few miles from access to beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. Relax in the sand, hunt for rocks, hike a trail, kayak or paddle-board and watch an epic sunset.

We are just down the road from the uninhabited School Lake, known for its fishing from non-motorized boats or a quiet place to paddle. Additionally, just 2 Miles away you can access the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail, a non-motorized 27 mile groomed trail that follows the scenic M-22 from our location all the way to Empire, MI. This trail is open year round to walk, run, bicycle, snowshoe or cross-country ski.

2.8 miles in the other direction from our camp, you'll find a Mountain Bikers paradise at Palmer Woods Forest Preserve, with various hiking trails and a 6 mile mountain bike trail.

Beautiful camp nestled in the evergreens. Raquel stopped by once to say hello, offer a map with local attractions and invite us to meet their livestock. Three other groups of campers were enjoying the property while we were there, but we could neither see nor hear them—a wonderful private (COVID) escape for our family. Top three attractions: the night sky (unbelievable!), the chickens who stopped by to say hello on Sat am, and the congenial American Redstart who kept us company.

Staying here was a great experience. . Four campsites in a scenic stand of Spruce trees. There is tree cover between sites for privacy. Everything was very neat/clean - wood chips were a great touch and kept dirt to a minimum. Across the camp area were cows and pigs & a vegetable garden along the fence line. A chicken even wandered into my campsite. Very charming. Already planning my next stay.

Raquel was an excellent host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The sites are well maintained and spread out so you're not right on top of any other campers. Raquel and her kids were gracious enough to show us around their farm; we loved learning more about their livestock! Easy to find, centrally located for day trips, and beautiful Northern Michigan surroundings- what's not to love?
