Pitch your tent, or small camper on what used to be the Hole-1 Fairway of the old Wawonowin golf course. This is one of our smaller spots nicely tucked in the trees and very close to the trail and the port-a-pottie, and it now has a firepit and a picnic table!

We had a great time staying with Joni & Phil! They were extremely friendly and helpful. Our site was private with a great amount of shade. We took our pop-up to this site which worked fine but was a bit of a challenge for us to back in. They have other sites that are pull through that we didn’t realize were also on the property; the site we stayed at was a a little more ideal for tents. We still really enjoyed it because it was small and private. They offered for us to move but we decided to stay because we liked the site so much!

The hoata were very nice and friendly. Wholesome Yoopers that are personable. They were very responsive about questions and quick. Site was well maintained and tucked away so you feel very in the woods. It was also all nice grass, not turned to dirt like bigger places.

So glad you enjoyed your stay Michael and glad we had an early spring where the grass is growing already ;) Hope you can come back someday!

The hosts were wonderful with communication and the site was lovely. We had an absolutely tremendous time exploring the trails with our two dogs. The trails and our site we're immaculate and our stay far exceeded our expectations.

Suitable for RVs or tents. Firewood was kindly provided for an evening fire.Dog friendlyPerfect Site

Very pleasant experience, their place was easy to locate and check in was super quick. The campsite was clear upon arrival, the firepit was cleaned out, and the garbage cans were fresh. Toilet was clean and centrally located. They even had a hose with well water access.
Was pleased with everything, would definitely return. Great value, save over $100 for a hotel room in Marquette and it is less than 15 minutes away.
