What a beautiful farm this is! Dan thank you so much for having my wife and I. We had such a great time exploring and camping on your farm. Your homemade maple syrup is the absolute best!!
I had such a great time here recharging after traveling. My dog and I especially loved our naps in the hammock. It's such a beautiful place you've got, thank you for your wonderful hospitality!
Our camping experience at Harvest Village was the perfect getaway from the city. Their land is so beautiful, and you can't miss out on the farm fresh breakfast! Dan and Arlene have quite the set up, and we are looking forward to returning and saying hi to the animals.
It's was a cozy and beautiful working farm.
I went there with my 4 kids age range 10-15yo, and I thought it was an excellent campsite to introduce kids to the wonderful world of tent camping. They sure enjoyed the cook outs, sleeping outdoors, feeding the farm animals (sheep, pigs, ducks, etc.), playing with the farm pets (cats and dogs)
This site had running water, bathroom and shower, so you are not totally roughing it. This site is also about 1hr away from Sleeping Bear Dunes Park.
Dan and Arlene were very gracious and helpful hosts ... all in all a great experience.
Dan and his wife were great hosts! Their farm offered a quiet and peaceful place to pitch our tent, and the campsite had everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking our evening meals on the grate over the campfire, and eating the delicious breakfasts each morning.
Beautiful escape from the city!
We loved our stay on Dan’s Farm! The location was very easy to get to. Dan came out and greeted us and gave us all the info we needed - the communication with him was great! The property is gorgeous. It’s a really well kept farm. We chose it based on its proximity to Huron National-Manistee National Forest, as we wanted to hike. Unfortunately it rained most of the weekend, but luckily our tent on the farm stayed dry and we found some other things in the area to do. There is firewood, restrooms, and an indoor area provided, all of which were really nice. The tent site is very close to the other tent sites, so just be aware of this if you are looking for more privacy. Overall we would totally come back and recommend this place to our friends! Very cute and comfortable stay.
Great site with shade
Wonderful site with shade, table and chairs, fire pit and some firewood. Outdoor sink where we did a few dishes after cooking. Even have an indoor bathroom and shower with hot water which was nicer than we expected. Dan and Arlene are very kind folks. We enjoyed our stay. Would be a GREAT place for cyclists passing through as it’s not far from the trail. They have indoor spaces that cyclists could take refuge if the weather turned poor. Harvest Village also has bed and breakfast rooms so you could request them to cook a farm fresh breakfast if you really wanted to treat yourself. Lovely place.
