There is a play field located past the 4 oaks campsite to the North of you. This particular camp was the site of a deer hunting shed that was destroyed by a fallen tree. There is a practice disc golf course in the woods that is under construction with a couple of usable fairways.

We loved camping at The Knoll & Greg was a great host. The site is lovely & very private. The outhouse is as good as the other reviewers say!
The firewood we requested was waiting at the site when we arrived & Greg delivered our eggs shortly thereafter.
There’s also a little store nearby for anything you may have forgotten.
You can hear traffic from the nearby road, but we, being from Detroit, found it totally normal.
We would definitely recommend & want to return.
What a lovely experience. The nature trails is well maintained and a gentle walk for the whole family. We enjoyed disc golf, laying under the canopy of trees, wonderful hospitality, clean facilities, and frogs. When the weather turned he gave us grace top stay later if we needed to. Loved it, plan on returning soon.
I absolutely loved that it was a little bit more of a private spot! The shower was very nice loved it.Gregg was very kind and helpful.Very clean kept.Had a wonderful stay can’t wait to com back!

The Knoll was the perfect rustic camping spot for our family! We enjoyed fishing at the pond, walking the beautifully groomed trails and the bathroom was well kept and clean. Definitely family and pet friendly! We will be back in the future.
The land is beautiful and hospitable. While it is rustic camping, there is potable water and clean outhouses and showers (at some sites). The quiet woods make for a great getaway.
Greg has created a wonderful campsite on his property. The Knoll was such a beautiful wooded site, with plenty of room. A nice firepit and picnic table made camp life so easy. The toilets deserve a review of their own! They were clean, smelled good, and had motion sensor lights, no need for your own lantern or headlamp. The trail on the property was a nice little walk to wear out the dogs just before leaving. Will leave time to play disc golf on the next visit. Definitely recommend any of the Hall’s Haven sites and look forward to our next visit!

It was beautiful property! There were 3 pods to walk around and really cool trails going around the whole area. My kids loved mountain biking it. The outhouse was super clean and nice. Greg brought us wood whenever we needed it and was quick to respond to questions we had. The only down side was we were near a road and when you’re trying to sleep and loud trucks zoom by it was hard to sleep. But a portable sound machine will fix that next time.

Beautiful property smack dab in the middle of Northern Michigan. The Knoll was perfect for our group of 8 & three dogs. Loved the disc golf baskets & the clean composting toilet. Great communication. Highly recommend!
The site was wonderful and the host was very accommodating! Great little weekend away!

Glad you had a good time at our camp. Need to say at this time the current 4 x 8 outdoor heated shower will be utilized for the entire camp when it is completed in july.
