Lori was a fantastic host! She greeted us with coffee in the morning and had great suggestions for hiking trails. The property was easy to find and a 20 minute drive from downtown Marquette. It is such a beautiful space with great amenities like a compost toilet and sauna. There are many spots you could pitch a tent including by the creek or in the yurt next to the wood burning stove
This was a nice forest camp on a gentle stream. It’s close to Marquette and Superior beaches nestled down a private drive and surrounded by nature. The wood burning sauna with interior shower were relaxing after a long day of adventure. Lori was a gracious host and greeted us with morning treats and evening fires, but gave us plenty of space to enjoy. Everything was well kept and clean with a nice picnic table, grill, firewood and trails. Tent-camping was comfortable and there’s plenty of room for RVs. Pack your bug spray and enjoy your stay!
