Booking this site was a last minute trip idea. We chose this site because of the location, site photos, & positive reviews. It was also very convenient that this site provided the essentials. Canopy tent, air mattress, fire pit with grilling accessories, chairs, picnic table, electricity, running water, and FREE WiFi!

Upon arriving we were greeted by the host Jonathon who showed us the way to our campsite which already had a lit fire. He then gave us a guided tour of his property with fascinating history and his vision for the land. We then explored nearby sights, cities, and trails using Jonathan’s recommendations. Upon returning at dusk, we were pleased to find our campsite lit up with all of the lights and the campfire attended again. The remainder of our stay was rather peaceful hearing the sounds of nature and close by streams. Overall we are very pleased with our stay and recommend planning your next camping trip here.

I absolutely loved it here. My husband and I camped out for 4 nights and had a fun and relaxing experience. The campsite is huge and even more beautiful in person. Very peaceful at night. All of the lights, towering trees, sounds of the rushing stream and waterfall right next to you made it feel like we stepped into a story book. While it feels like your in the middle of the forest you have comforts like electricity and strong wifi right at the campsite. Also the outhouse was cute, very clean and even has a sink inside. There are also stores not too far away in case you need something.

Jonathan is a fantastic host and his land is absolutely beautiful! He is so much fun to talk to, excellent communication and just a really great person. We chose to go on a guided hike of the property and were so happy we did. He taught us about the history and different types of trees. Was hilarious and had great stories. The plans he has for his campground are awesome. Its a great place for families, couples or a solo camper.

What a great weekend! Perfect fall weather and an attentive host. The site was clean, spacious and most importantly quiet. We were fed up with crowded, noisy public campgrounds and this was our first Hipcamp experience. We couldn't have asked for a better time. When we arrived, Jonathan had already gotten our campfire going for us which was so appreciated. He provided us with a guided tour of his land and shared with us his ideas for the future. We will definitely be back and would recommend Flowing Waters to anyone interested in a peaceful get away.

It’s a perfect place for a get away with a group or just with one other. We were welcomed with a fire and beautiful lights. It was organized, tidy, very nice owners, trees all around, the sound of the river and waters falls, close to some great towns. Bathroom is very convenient as well. Definitely going back!

The highlight is the very lovely outdoor lighting situation! Lots of stringed lights up among the hemlock and cedars, as well as a globe light that lookalike the moon!

Jon was the best host and didn’t flinch away when my sister and I greeted him. He showed us around our temporary home and already had a fire burning for us. I explored in the creek and begged mom for a hike. She relented and I was able to run, sniff and explore for miles. We climbed up a hill, over streams and even went through a doorway into the other side of the forest. Once is got dark, there was still plenty to do because of all of the magical string lights that lit up the stream area. My second day was a little dreary with rain but Jon’s tent was strong and the heater warm, I managed to ride it out with mom until we were able to explore again. Everything about our stay was adventurous but cozy. Definitely the best place for other dogs to take their humans. 5 out of 5 paws…no barks about it.

This was a great site for a long weekend of camping. Jonathan was a great host and responded to all needs very promptly. He truly cares for his guests and loves to share his property with others. The site was well-lit, inviting, clean and had all camping essentials (table, fire pit, wood, outlets, etc).
