This was our first time using Hipcamp and it was great! Daniel and Nicole have a beautiful setup and we’re fantastic hosts. We had the place to ourselves, but the other campsites were equally beautiful. Nicole gave us directions to an awesome place to swim. We will definitely be back to camp again.
Daniel and Nicole were amazing hosts and the campsite was in a great location with tons of privacy. Clean portajohn too!
We loved tent camping on Daniel’s land, it was very private and quiet even though we had neighbors. Nicole was a great host, she helped us to find our spot even though we arrived late and was fast to respond to any questions we had. Our spot was right by the woods, so we enjoyed bird’s singing and coyote’s serenades. And don’t get scared if you here screams at night, it’s just a red fox looking for a new boyfriend.
There’s also a portable restroom that was very clean and well-mantained.
This property was lovely! Rolling hill surrounded by beautiful forest. Lots of space to play ball with my pup! The camp was also perfectly located about 10 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes and 20 minutes from Traverse city! Also very close to Glen Arbor with cute shopping and coffee shops/bars. Such a great place!
Daniel was wonderful and accommodating. The weather was poor my first day so he let me stay an extra night at no cost!
