Lori could not have been more friendly and welcoming and the setting is lovely. I was on a long distance road trip and Lori’s place isn’t far from the interstate so it worked well for me. I really appreciated the easy place to rest. And her dog is a love!
This place was great. The host has a fantastic set up with a communal space in the barn. There is water and snacks available. The port-a-toilet is clean and has a light inside.
We chose the site between the barn and the ongoing build of a cabin. There is a beautiful creek right behind this campsite which was nice for the kid to explore.
The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Lori even gave me a pair of socks since I forgot to pack some!
The only negative things I can say (which are not really negative and not anyone's fault) is that GPS might take you down the road a ways. Lori was quick to help re-direct us. There were also other campers there partying until 130am in the barn so if noise is an issue, you might want to choose a location further away from the barn.
Overall this is a fantastic site with very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful scenery as well.

We had a great time at Creek Side Cabins and Tent Camping. If you enjoy a very social setting, this is a great site for you! Campsites are private but the hosts loved sitting by the fire and hanging out with us all weekend. I have never actually hung out with the hosts and other guests until I went to this camp. The owners have around 17 acres (I believe that’s what they said); we could camp anywhere we wanted but they also had a few sites that were mowed. We stayed at the site right by the pond. We brought two dogs with us, and they had a great time playing with the hosts’ dog! There is firewood available for purchase (as well as snacks :)), and fire pit rings can be brought to any site.
