We are closed seasonally from November 1st until May 1st.

You are in a land carved by glaciers, seriously! A place away from the rest of the world, but within a short drive to the best Northwest Michigan has to offer. We are on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful, quiet, one acre property surrounded by deep wooded forests. If you are looking to get away, this is it!  A private, full hook-up, RV campground with all the amenities including high speed internet. This is glamping at its BEST! You will not find a more charming place so close to the lakes of Northwest Michigan's lower peninsula and all within driving distance to the coolest cities. In full disclosure, we are not a commercial resort campground or a state park: this is our family property. We are excited in the joy and happy moments this land brings to our family and others. If you want a place with a hundred sites and tons of people around you this is not going to be a place you want to stay.

We have 3 sites; however, only 2 are listed on Hipcamp (if your are interested in all 3 sites please contact us).  We cannot guarantee what site you will get unless you contact me in advance!  Our maximum RV length is 38' - if you are over 38' we cannot accommodate you. You must back-in from the road (there are no pull through sites). Our driveway is 15' - 20' wide for ease of backing up.  20/30/50 amp electrical, sewer, water, internet WIFI (100mbs), fire pit (please do not move fire pits), and a picnic table are included for each site. Trash bin is at the road. The sites are level, consist of crushed concrete gravel covered by 6a stone, and are 12' wide.  One family per site unless you are booking as a group. Unlimited firewood is available for a flat $20.00 fee for your entire stay (please see extras option).   DO NOT CUT DOWN TREES.  FYI ability to have a fire can change based on state guidelines due to weather conditions. Check-In is 1:00 p.m. and Check-Out is 11:00 a.m.   At this time, we DO NOT accommodate stand alone tent camping as we have no restroom facilities; however, if you have an RV and bring a tent with you that is cool, just let us know and we will show you the best spot to set up the tent. We welcome pets but ask that you clean up after them, be mindful of other guests, and be respectful of our neighbor's property.   Our neighbor has chickens that roam freely: please be mindful of your pets when the chickens are out!  IF YOUR PET IS ON THE NEIGHBOR’S PROPERTY CHASING CHICKENS YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE and no refund will be provided.

Bring your boats, canoes, kayaks, bathing suits, and fishing poles!  Less than a 3 minute walk to Echo Township Park (Six Mile Lake) with beach, playground and boat launch (yes, you can literally walk there).  25 minutes to Torch Lake Township Day Park (Torch Lake), Antrim Creek Nature Area (Lake Michigan), Norwood Township Park (Lake Michigan), Elm Pointe Recreation area (Lake Charlevoix's South Arm), or Notewares Landing Beach (Lake Bellaire).  This is by far the coolest place east of the Mississippi to hit rivers, streams, and lakes.

Hiking at its best!  Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area Trailhead (Bellaire); Avalanche Preserve (Boyne City); Sleepy Hollow Nature Preserve (East Jordan); and Northpoint Nature Preserve (Charlevoix).

Go shopping or out to eat!  15 minutes to East Jordan (breakfast at Southarm Cafe is a must / dinner at Las Maracas for tacos), Bellaire (Short's Brewery), Central Lake (visit Bachmann's Five and Dime) or Ellsworth (Front Porch Cafe Breakfast).  25 minutes to Charlevoix (don't forget to visit Castle Farms on the way).  30 minutes to Boyne City (Indo China Gardens has great Asian cuisine). 35 minutes to Elk Rapids (Pearl's New Orleans Kitchen). 45 minutes to Petoskey.  1 hour to Traverse City.  Hour and a half to Mackinaw City.

Wine and beer are good! Hit up Cellar 1914; the Cellars at Royal Farms; Bier's Inwood Brewery; 1918 Cellars; Chateau Lake Charlevoix; Waterfire Vineyards Torch Lake; Torch Lake Cellars; Vista Ridge Vineyards; and Short's Brewery!

Jeffery was an incredibly accommodating host. He is in the processing of making serious improvements to his property. I expect it will be exceptional once completed. There were 2 RV sites available when we stay. there is not much privacy between the sites. However, it is great spot for friends and families to meet up. We rented both sites to make sure we had the privacy we wanted.

Note for campers with dogs: The local park on the lake is just a short walk away; however, a sign says that dogs are not allowed.

Jennifer and her family were amazing guests. You could not ask for more respectful thoughtful people. It was a pleasure to host for them and we would be happy to have them again.

Jeffery was very attentive. He sent messages through the app to make sure we were settled in and didn't have any issues. The weather was predicted to turn on us and when he remembered that we were tent camping, he offered to let us set up camp in the garage. Luckily the storm blew over and we were fine, but I was greatful to have the option. the site was clean and it was easy for us to navigate our site. I would recommend.

This is such a great campsite tucked away in beautiful Northern Michigan! The site is very sandy but it does have full hookups and we had no issues. The campfire setup is great and firewood is provided. Jeffrey was super accommodating and made sure our family had the place to ourself! There is no cell service here so that's something to be aware of but he mentioned he might be adding wifi in the near future. Stay here! You won't regret it!

Jeffery was supper responsive and helpful as a host. The site was exactly as shown. The hookups worked perfectly. It is so quiet and peaceful. Star gazing was beautiful at night! It's close to Torch Lake as well. We loved it!

What a great site and week we had. Everything was laid out so nice at Jeffreys site. He also made sure the space was too ourselves for the 4 nights we were there do to the COVID situation which made us feel much safer. All the hook ups were conveniently located and worked flawlessly.

Nice and peaceful, good place to get away and relax!

Suggest 4 wheel drive to get through the sand on the site, and a long hose for water hookup.

The chicken were cute to look at, and didn’t hear a roaster so no early wake up call!

Thank you Abby! We were so happy to have you as guests! You are correct about needing a long RV hose and I will update the listing to reflect that. We hope you’ll stay again!

Our site at Jeffrey's property was very nice! We enjoyed the privacy very much. Very nice having full hook up and free firewood!
Jeffery kept in contact throughout the entire process and was very helpful.
The site was walloon distance to the beautiful 6 mile lake which we kayaked. It was also close to Charlevoix, traverse city, boyne city and Walloon lake, all of which we visited easily from the site. Would recommend and come again!
