The great reviews are true!
We had a wonderful time hiking around on the land, our favorite part was sitting down by the river. Dove and John are excellent hosts, and very attentive. It’s clear they’ve spent a lot of time to really make their land something special.

This cozy nook in northern Michigan was lovely to stay at. Quiet and supplied with simple camp amenities, camp 437 was a welcomed place to pitch our tent and relax amongst the trees.
Great spot. I loved it. There are little marked trails to hike. I didn't get a chance to do all of them but the couple that I did do were great. I would definitely book again when in the area.
The hosts were great and communicated well about how things work. It was all exactly as they explained and there were no surprises upon arrival. They provided a bucket of water to extinguish the fire and some fire starting goodies which was a nice touch.
Beautiful area. Felt secluded and private yet a town is easily accessible near by. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone looking to camp primitively.
Relaxing and quiet site. Great to hear owls at night, nice marked trails to check out. The site was clean and the host was very thoughtful with having everything ready to make you feel welcomed.
Beautiful place & thoughtful hosts!
We loved our stay at the field site! :)
The camp site was beautiful and so peaceful. We felt secluded yet very safe and comfortable being out in the woods. The nature was stunning & we could not be happier with our stay there & wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else!! When we arrived the hosts had left us with a bundle of firewood, skewers for the fire, tools to tend to the fire, a citronella candle, and a rake; they are so thoughtful and sweet. Overall, a 10/10 we loved it and definitely recommend!
Beautiful gated property close to the Sturgeon River. Extra touches (wood bundle, cooking tripod over fire, tiki torch, etc) made us feel welcome. Open air toilet was actually kinda nice! Hosts were very responsive to questions
Was a real nice set up. Very secluded and we didnt see a single person the whole time, which was nice. Would highly recommend if your into the rustic camping.
Easy travel stop!
Camp 437 was easy to find with firewood provided and a clean, secluded pit toilet. The site also had a picnic table, great for traveling with kids! The overall site was a bit damp and we made friends with quite a few slugs on our tent overnight. There are trials through the property and one passes this site, so you may have a few visitors like we did. Overall, an easy site to stop on the way up to the UP!
