Camper site 2

My second time passing through. I think this is going to be my spot! Too cozy and relaxing to pass up, with all the things I need.

We greatly enjoyed our stay on Melissa’a property. With a last minute cancellation she upgraded us to another site at no extra cost. We had plenty of seating and the area around the fire pit was lovely. We did not use the shower at the site, but it appeared to be a great set up. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. The torches were a welcome addition to the campsite.

Camping in the yurt at Melissas was a real treat. The campsites are so thoughtfully put together with everything you need and more. Great attention to detail. I really enjoyed the shower and cooking, writing and dreaming. The flower farm was beautiful to walk around, and Melissa greeted me with her Alpacas. Dreamy, lovely, place.

Great spot! Beautifully maintained grounds. We rented site 1 and 2. Like across the way close camping for our family.

This was a prefect camping experience. Not far from county parks or the city of Niles.
There are a few other camp sites, but you are far enough away from everyone where you don’t even see them. The site was clean and the up-cycled tables with seat were a nice touch. Our host left a little box that contained kindling and paper along with a trash bag, again a very nice touch.
There is plenty to do on the property as well, a volleyball net and other fun yard games were provided along with lots of trails on the property.
The bathroom was a port-o-potty and we very clean and is shared with another site.
This site is highly recommended, we look forward to staying here again or even trying out their other site that has a Yurt.

This was such an amazing spot!! The hosts were so kind and accommodating! They gave us recommendations for food and fun activities happening locally, but also completely respected our desire for a secluded camping trip. The camping site is perfectly secluded while still nearby many ammentities and there is so much space on their beautiful property to walk around/ explore! Will definitely be staying here again :))

Very nice surprise! Was a little worried when the address indicated more or less a residential area but it was wooded, private, quiet and had lots of walking trails. We never knew how close we were to everything else until we needed to make a Walmart run! Very convenient. The yurt was the perfect size and comfortable, fire pit with the swivel was the best for breakfast (can’t beat the host’s farm fresh eggs either) and the hammock was an unexpected bonus. Friendly hosts. Will go back when we are back in the area!
