You'll have the entire studio apartment in the home's basement to yourself, with amazing views of Lake Michigan from the large picture windows, and access to private trails on our 12 acre maple forest behind our working farm where we raise highland cattle, pastured pigs and chickens, and heritage breed turkeys. The 864 square foot apartment has a queen size bed with linens, a full size futon suitable for 1 adult or 2 kids, full bath with jacuzzi tub and shower, small electric fireplace, and office area with desk, as well as a kitchenette with microwave, coffeemaker, mini-fridge/wine cooler, and dishes.

Our property is about 4 miles inland from Lake Michigan, on Beckon Hill. Cross Village, home of the famous Legs Inn, is 2 miles north, as is Black Barn Farm and Three Pines Studio. Our farm is 15 miles from the Pellston Airport (served by Delta airlines), 19 miles from the Harbor Springs Airport, and 27 miles from I-75. We are a 20 minute drive from downtown Harbor Springs, 30 minutes from Petoskey, 30 minutes from Mackinaw City and Mackinac Bridge, and 35 minutes from Cheboygan.

We are close to several beaches on Lake Michigan. Sturgeon Bay Beach in Wilderness State Park is 9 miles away, Zorn and Zoll beaches are 15 miles away, and the Petoskey State Park beaches are 21 miles away.We are also 27 miles from the magnificent Headlands International Dark Sky Park, although you'll have almost as good of a view of the night skies from our property.
