Favorite campgrounds full? Or just want a new experience for the holiday? We're just a hop skip from several July 4th celebration hotspots like "The greatest fourth in the North" in Lake City, Houghton Lake, and Cadillac! If enjoying peace and tranquility while gazing over a beautiful farm meadow and watching deer graze sound rejuvenating to your soul, this is the place for you.  These family and pet friendly, organic farm-side campsites will allow you to set a slower pace while you visit family, fish the area lakes and rivers, learn in one of our many farm skill classes, or just enjoy the magic of northern Michigan.

Pitch your tent or park your camper in the peace and quiet of an organic farm. Sites are at the edge of a quiet hay field. You can enjoy the wildlife that crosses the field in front of you and go for a walk in the conservation area at the back of the property. You're welcome to schedule a tour of the farm and help us feed the chickens or collect the eggs.  You are welcome to stock your cooler or fridge with our grass fed farm raised products.

There are several fishing rivers and lakes within a half hour drive. The Clam River is close by for canoeing and kayaking. Falmouth (also home to the famous Ebels store), Lake City, Cadillac, Houghton Lake, and Harrison boast many recreation and tourist opportunities within a 40 minute drive. Raft or float the Pine River, Manistee River, or Muskegon River for more adventure. There are walking trails on the property, and the quiet country roads are great for a bike ride. The small, local towns of McBain, Marion, and Falmouth are pleasant and have much to offer with ice cream shops, coffee shops, local restaurants, and grocery stores.

We loved this spot so much, we wound up staying for three weeks! The sites are well spread out and we had plenty of room. It's incredibly peaceful out here. The hosts were quite welcoming and friendly and we loved visiting their farm and seeing the pigs, chickens and cows. Major bonus - they had fabulous fresh milk and eggs available to purchase each week. We also loved the ground beef and pork sausage. Our family will absolutely come back to visit again!
